🛏️ Standard rooms sleep 4. Standard rooms offer Little Mermaid theme. Suites sleep up to 6 and offer Finding Nemo, Cars, Lion King theme.
🌊 3 pools around the resort. The biggest being The Big Blue pool with a Finding Nemo themed splash pad. The cars side also has a pool with cabanas located inside the cozy cones. The flippin' fins pool is Little Mermaid themed with an orchestra conducted by Sebastian.
🛝 Amenities include a playground, games by the pool, snores in the evening, movies under the stars, tie dye, arcade and an excercise room

📸 One of the best parts of Art of Animation are all of the photo opportunities around the resort. Even if you aren't staying, it's worth exploring the grounds, especially if you have a Cars lover!

A deluxe resort that offers view of giraffes and zebras right from your balcony while you sip your morning coffee. Of course we can only be talking about Animal Kingdom Lodge.
🛏️ Standard rooms will sleep up to 4. Value suites fit 4 but do offer a small kitchenette. One, two and three bedroom villas are also offered which will hold 5 adults, 9 and 12 adults respectively.
🥘 There are multiple restaurants on site that incorporate African dishes including Boma, a buffet for breakfast and dinner, Sanaa that overlooks the Savannah while you dine and Jiko which provides dinner only. There are also some quick service and pool bars available throughout the property.
🌊 There are two main pools at AKL. Both have zero depth entries and a water slide. There is also a hot tub and kid splash zone. Uwanja Camp (kid splash zone) has water cannons, play structures, interactive water features, and a tipping bucket.
🦒 Activities: In addition to multiple viewing areas of the Savannah, a playground and the pools there are also several activities to keep the kids entertained. Explore the stations around the resort and earn small tokens while you learn about the wildlife. There is also a painting station offered for an additional fee certain days of the week, a spa and fitness center, s'mores and movies under the stars at night and an arcade.

Disney has officially announced the Moana splash pad and Wailulu Bar & Grill coming to Disney Vacation Club’s Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. Both look beautiful and we can't wait to see the finished products!

Our kids have really enjoyed staying here and checking out all of the statues outside of the resorts and swimming in the big Fantasia pool. It's a great option if you want to stay on property but want to save your money for more Mickey shaped treats. Has your family stayed here before?

There’s an undeniable magic that comes with taking a Disney cruise. Whether it’s the food, the destinations, the beloved characters, or the Broadway-caliber shows, the memories created with loved ones are irreplaceable. I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing both an adults-only Disney cruise with a wonderful friend and now a Disney cruise with my son, and each has been extraordinary. I’ve sailed on the Disney Dream and Disney Wish, and both were fantastic. Alex and I had a blast watching movies by the pool, relaxing, eating, meeting the princesses at The Royal Gathering, playing ping pong and foosball, did I mention eating?!😉, and laughing until it hurt during the Aladdin show (highly recommend!) One of us thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling at Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay, while the other (no names mentioned!) wasn’t too thrilled about all of the fish swimming too close by.😂🐠 I eagerly anticipate future Disney cruises because there’s simply nothing else like them!

At DisneyWorld we have:
-Villians land is officially coming! 🔱Construction is set to start in 2025 and will be a full land with shopping, dining and two new attractions
-Cars themed rides coming to Frontierland. 🚘One ride will be geared towards small children. The other will be racing through the mountains.
-A new nighttime parade is coming to Magic Kingdom in summer of 2025! 🎇
-Animal Kingdom will be replacing It's Tough to be a Bug with a new Zootopia themed show (opening winter of 2025). 🦊Meanwhile DinoLand will be replaced with Tropical Americas Pueblo Esperanza 🦜which have many nods to Encanto including a carousel, Encanto ride and Indiana Jones ride. Construction beginning later this year
-Hollywood Studios will be receiving a new land with Monster's Inc bringing the humans into Monstropolis with a new ride involving riding the door 🚪. Construction begins 2025.

Meanwhile in Disneyland...
-New Avatarland is coming to California Adventure. This land will be different than the Avatar area in Animal Kingdom and the art displayed seems to resemble The Journey of Water. 💧
-Coco will be getting it's first ever attraction at California Adventure, breaking ground in 2026 🎸
-Tiana's Bayou Adventure will officially open November 15th 🐸
-Avengers campus will be getting two new rides. It was announced that construction will start soon on both Avengers Infinity Defense (a ride that will see guests travel across the multiverse to New York City, Asgard and Wakanda to battle with King Thanos) and Stark Flight Lab. The latter will see guests sit in two-person pods to be deployed to a test station. Construction is set to begin in 2025 🎢

BREAKING NEWS 🎯 - Here’s our first look at the Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry attraction coming to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic!

Upon arrival, guests will enter the Ministry’s grand atrium and venture through other departments before boarding magical, omnidirectional lifts to watch the trial take place…until Umbridge attempts to escape.

Alex and I recently enjoyed a mother-son cruise, which made me realize how quickly my time with my oldest is slipping away. As he grows, I know “mom” won’t always be his top priority. I cherished this one-on-one time, and we created many lasting memories. Our Disney cruise was fantastic, and I know as we both continue to age, the magic of Disney will forever keep us young at heart.✨💗
