It’s up to you today to start making healthy choices. Not choices that are just healthy for your body, but healthy for your mind." - Steve Maraboli.

This was our very first batch of Bach Flower Remedies. Even though we both have passion for teaching, we were nervous while starting the batch and even for few initial lectures but these lovely participants helped us to keep the session interactive as well as encouraged us for further batches.

Meghna from jaane tu ya jaane na.

Meghna is perceieved as a cheerful, chirpy and outgoing girl. She loves to meet new people and interacts with others easily. The problem arises when you see that she has a tendency to imagine things which are not real. She lives in her own, imaginary world, as if everything is magical or we can say she is refusing to accept the reality and prefers to stay in the imaginary world because reality is quiet harsh. We may call this as daydreaming. And then in the later part of the movie, we find out that she had a difficult childhood: because of the disputes between her parents. This has affected her childhood and mental state tremendously, and because of that she has refused to accept the reality.
We have an interesting remedy in Bach Flower Therapy, in which the person lives in a dreamy world and refuses to connect to the present.

We all go through tremendous stress everyday. Everyone has their set of problems to deal with. And many times we don't pay much attention to the mental tension that is building up,unless we start experiencing some physical symptoms. Homoeopathy as well as Bach Flower Therapy states that mind is the first thing to be affected, and all negative emotions have severe impact on mind as well as on body. So, it is time that we all start giving priority to our mental health.

सध्याच्या कोविड परिस्थिती मध्ये सगळे जण प्रचंड ताणतणावातून जात आहोत. आजाराची भीती, work from home मुळे बाहेरच्या जगाशी काही संपर्क नाही, किंवा काही लोकं नोकरी or stable income नसल्याच्या तणावात आहेत.

Sharing an interesting post on the occasion of mother's day. This post shows the image of Asawari from Agga bai sasaubai, a very popular marathi serial. The character played by Aswari is extremely sensitive, over caring and over protective towards her loved ones. But because of this nature of hers, she is often taken granted, and loses her self respect and importance.

So, this is a message for all the mothers out there: "Be careful but not full of care."

Movie analysis using Bach Flower Remedies

Thappad:
Its been a year I saw this movie and this was the last movie I watched in theatre. And this movie still gives me goose-bumps. The story unfolds from happy scenes to emotional turmoil and ends with a strong message. This movie was liked by many people and was criticized by many people as well. Yes, everyone has their own taste and opinions but as far as I am concerned I loved this movie. Taapsee pannu has played her role fantastically, from being a naive wife to standing up for herself is a treat to watch. Along with the lead actress, each woman in this movie is undergoing through a turmoil in her life and totally ignoring it and moving on. But the lead actress decides to break this stigma and stands up for herself.
What is her reaction to the 'thappad?'
She is in deep shock. Not reacting to anything, following her routine with no actual interest, she is just doing things passively. Initially, she does not think of taking the extreme step but her husband's coldness breaks her, he behaved as if nothing wrong happened, there is no guilt or apology from his side which compells her to take action. Her mother in law says, it's ok beta, thoda bardasht karna sikhna chahiye aurton ko.
Her mother also says, Bas yahi dekhna baki tha ki beti divorce legi. But no one is able to understand, what is she going through. Yes, it was just one thappad, but it was enough to break her and make her understand that this is something wrong and all the other things which she was doing selflessly till now left her with zero self respect.

So, if we study this whole scenario ,using our Bach Flower Approach. (see images)

✨A post exclusively for all the pet lovers and pet parents!!✨

Diwali being the festival of lights, sweets and firecrackers is celebrated with utmost enthusiasm by everyone.
But my dear human friends do you know that our pet friends suffer the most in this festival. It is not at all a happy & enthusiastic time for them. And the reason for it are the noisy firecrackers. The very loud noise if firecrackers scares these little ones & the worst part being that they are unable to communicate or express it.

Bach flower therapy proposed by Dr. Edward Bach is an extremely helpful therapy for all the behavioral and psychological issues like anxiety, fear, temper tantrums, low confidence, indecisiveness, aggressiveness and many more.

Bach flower therapy is proved to be effective on behavioral changes in animals because of the firecrackers.

So let's pledge to avoid the use of firecrackers and give the pets a comfortable environment this Diwali.

INSIDE OUT
Today we are going to talk about this beautiful movie ‘INSIDE OUT.’
What do we mean by knowing someone inside out? It simply means:
To know everything or nearly about someone or something; OR
To be thoroughly familiar with someone or something.
How do we get to know someone thoroughly? By spending time with them, by observing their reaction to different situations in life.
And most importantly how people deal with the problems they face in life.
Coming back to the movie ‘INSIDE OUT’, this movie basically revolves around a little girl whose name is Riley and she lives in a small town in Minnesota. Within her mind’s headquarters, there are five basic emotions – JOY, SADNESS, FEAR, DISGUST and ANGER who influence her life and her way of handling things.
In the 20th century, Paul Ekman identified six basic emotions: ANGER, DISGUST, FEAR, HAPPINESS, SADNESS and SURPRISE. And Robert Plutchick identified eight emotions: ANGER-FEAR, TRUST-DISTRUST and SURPRISE-ANTICIPATION.
Riley faces the five basic emotions and undergoes many ups and downs in her life along with new changes.
In the next post, we are going to share each emotion experienced by Riley and its importance.

🌸 2nd Bach Flower Batch Announcement 🌸

Hello everyone. 👋🏽

Bach Flower Therapy was founded by Dr. Edward Bach. It consists of remedies prepared from flower essence that chiefly work on different shades of nature of a person, different emotions confronted by a person and the after effects of some circumstances.

We are glad to announce the successful conduction of online course on Bach Flower Therapy in this Lock-down. We are thankful to our students who were very keen on learning and encouraged us throughout the course to design creative activities for them. The course was conducted online and for 20 days.

Our aim for starting this course was to help people understand different behavioral issues and other psychological aspects of human beings as well as other living beings. Sitting at home and learning something new in lock-down is really the best use of the time we have!

So we would like to take this opportunity to announce our 2nd batch! Details available in the poster.
