Ready for the next step….
So very grateful to have been able to pursue my dreams and have days like this where I get to create, perform, tell stories, entertain… and have scenery like this to take in while I do it. Thanks
Summer-love! Thanks to my team for all their positive reinforcement, support and for the delightful summer shindig at their new digs! Wish I had more pics from the event, but was so rewarding to see all those talented, beautiful folks in the Trisko family, meet some wonderful new people, and soak in the sun! Filled my soul!
Yeah, you better “watch your step”! Detective Russell is on the case! This is the fun day! Hours of preparation, auditioning, training, keeping in shape, trying to keep what’s left of my hair from leaving me… Now I get to play. Thank you to my crew and casting for considering me. And since “self-taping” is never by your “self” I want to thank my pals who helped me get this part.
What a difference a year makes! I am so grateful to all the friends, family, strangers, counselors, and especially my kids, who have helped guide me from where I was a year ago to where I am now. It couldn’t have always been pleasant in my company for a little while there, but with your support and patience, I’ve found ME again. And I like Me again. And it can’t be understated how much I appreciate the guy from a year ago who didn’t give in to a “self-pity” cycle, but instead put in the work, the determination, brutally honest self analysis and most importantly, the self-care and love necessary to bounce back. It’s not always fun or easy, and There’s a long road ahead, but this ME is so happy to tackle it.
For all of you out there who have helped or shared your heartbreaking stories along the way, I hope you are finding peace and happiness as well. Keep going!

There are many wonderful pieces of art that populate the city of Vancouver. I was disappointed that one of my favorites, "The Proud Youth” created by Chinese sculptor Chen Wenling, has left its spot along the False Creek seawall. It obviously stood out, with its size and color, as I rode around the other side of the water. From the distance, I interpreted it as a representation of exhaustion, or exhilaration - not unlike the feelings those exercisers (bikers, runners, kayakers, etc) who passed by it everyday, might be having. But upon closer look, I saw the expression of unbridled laughter. The buckled over stance due to some overpowering sense of joy and humor. (Maybe it’s the feeling you get from scratching your bare ass on a tree, like my friend seems to be doing) Either way, I loved that this piece could evoke all those thoughts and emotions that I connect to equally. May your days be filled with more laughter than exhaustion.

Nashville Day Three Photo dump - after a couple days of late nights, we took it fairly easy this day, with a jaunt down Printers Alley for some more live music, including Jazz at Skulls Rainbow Room, as well as a pork chop the size of my head!
Nashville Day Two Photo Dump - Part Two - !!! In my research prep for our trip to the “Nash” (do people call it that?) - I watched an episode of “Somebody Feed Phil” (not mentioning the streamer until the strike is over) - thank you .rosenthal for making me aware of this incredible place - best meal of dish after dish of foods that seemed Italian inspired with touches from all sorts of cultures. The atmosphere was relaxed modern style w/no stuffiness. And the cocktails !!! Fantastic! Get your reservations in advance if you’re planning a trip to “the Nash”
Nashville photo dump - Day Two! (Part 1) - No rental car? No problem! The city is stocked with multiple brands of scooters and e-bikes to help you get around. We grabbed some in Music Row, toured through to find Visited with a goddess, payed respects to the suffragettes, before a late lunch of tasty where we got caught in a magnificent southern thunderstorm. Amazing time! More to come…
