Fun night! We used our Speed Week timing system at the end of the track! Felt like we were right against the mountain.

Steve takes second because he really, really wanted Justin to win!

Happy 4th of July weekend! One of us is VERY patriotic!! Thanks to our hardworking daughter for making racing fun!

What a big end to Alaska Speed Week!! Steve and Richard Bogan fought hard to the end! Richard won by .0017 of a second! Lol! Great job, guys!

The conclusion to the first ever Alaska Speed Week is tonight at Alaska Raceway Park! This is the last chance to see the participants race this year and you don’t want to miss it. It’s also being followed up by a night of NHRA No Prep street racing!

Come on out, support the contestants, and race your own car! Merchandise will be available for purchase but is going quickly.

Alaska Speed Week awards will be after the event in the lounge. Gates open at 3 pm, Speed Week cars go on the track at 4 pm.

Final stop! So close to home. We’re exhausted but also sad it’s almost over. Can’t wait till next year!

Stop #2 at the hub.

Stage three stop #1 is the 1320 mile post.

Super fun day at Tanacross. Weather was completely bipolar but we made it!! Hard to make our times, but we got close and this puts Steve first in his class.

Second leg stop #2 at Big Delta landing mile 276.5.

For the second leg we’re at stop #1! Santa Claus House. Unfortunately, Karen was denied entry due to her being recently added to the naughty list. Any guesses on what she did?? Alaska Speed Week

A great day full of cars! Spent the early part of the day at the Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum and the afternoon at a car show. Now onto Tok!
