We unsurprisingly lost this round. But went on to complete the entire run. Getting both my teammates plat for the incursion. Thankfully the game after this I helped my squad hit Diamond.

I stand by my previous statement that Fuze is the undisputed MVP and top pick for Stage 23s Maelstrom!
Still B Tier in the long run. But he’s super effective on these large maps with small corridors and rooms.
I’m mad I didn’t record this incursion but it was a blast running it.

Since I’ve seen everyone doing this I decided to post one myself.
Month 1 tier list for maelstrom!
Based on weapon kit, ability, passive and how they all stack up on the long haul thats MAELSTROM! Think what operators check off the most boxes for each objective and what secarios could arise from them. I need to specify this is for maelstrom. Not spillover, regular incursions or single objectives.
I have reasoning for each op using facts,stats and my opinion obviously. Feel free to ask why.
Zofia is A tier as well. My list didn’t have her as an option but that’s where I put her😂

I’m looking for a few players that would like to attempt a maelstrom pistols only challenge. Looking to record full gameplay for the channel.
Run Rules:
1: Firearm kills can only come from a semi auto secondary’s. Example: Pistols and Revolvers
2: Any equipment and Ability’s are good to use. You’re aloud to get kills with these items as well.
3: Takedowns may be done.

Do objective’s in this order:
Elites First
Invisible Second
Blinding Third

Don’t be afraid to do multiple objectives at once. Especially early Phases. You can do up to three at a time.
It’s okay if canisters get destroyed. Your not penalized for it aside from the time it takes to grab a new one.

Make sure each player takes four ammo and a medkit at the start.
If you have an auto turret place it down before taking react tech. Doing so will create a second turret that can be placed in unison with your first.
Note:
I have had up to 5 at one point. I have no idea how many can be placed by one operator!

Top tier for spillover are gridlock and smoke equipped with an auto turret. They can both solo almost every phase including some phase 3 objectives.
Third operator is your preference. But I found both finka and alibi work great in tandem with the first two.
Jager is also a light version of gridlock and smoke. Little harder to solo spots and he can burn through ability boxes if you aren’t carful.
I also recommend taking some recon v***r. Works great for the invisible rounds. 45 second locational scan that fully outlines invisible enemies in red. Can help with the headshot study as well.

Using smoke. Place your turret in a reasonable location looking at the canister. Place his smoke gr***de on canister as well. Once started support your turret in taking down enemies only popping your gr***de if fully engulfed in enemy’s. If done well enough you should be able to complete each canister with 0-2 smoke gr***des used.

Using gridlock is the same concept. Place turret overlooking canister in a reasonable spot. Toss down trax stingers depending on location and phase these are my recommendations.
Phase 1
0-1 trax
Phase 2
2-3 trax
Phase 3
2-5 trax
