Still don't know if you want to attend the after prom party at the Y? Here is what the PTSA has planned: Food from Pat's- chicken tenders, quesadillas, rustic sandwiches, and mozzarella sticks.
We also have 2 x 2 gal containers of Rita's ice, full size sheet cake and large fruit salad, nachos and meatballs. As well as various candy....M&M's, Swedish Fish and Sour Patch Kids. We have over 60 door prizes to give away and then there's the car Jones is giving away.

CAR GIVE AWAY at after prom party!! Jones Junction is giving away a car to one lucky senior that attends the After Prom Party Event at the Y of Central MD in Abingdon this Saturday, May 3rd.
The car is a Honda Civic EX 2 door. The student selected will be able to take delivery of the vehicle after paying the taxes, which are based on the value of the car, the registration and providing proof of insurance.
Jones for a Lifetime is providing the car and is in promotion of Safe Driving for Students. So if you haven’t turned in your signed After Prom Party Permission slip, get it in by Friday. Only those students attending the Prom are eligible for the After Prom Party and you must be present for the giveaway.
The boys lacrosse game vs Tech has been postponed until tomorrow (5/1) at 6pm.
The girls lacrosse games have been cancelled for today and will NOT be made up.
Reminder- senior sports banquet RSVPs are due this Wednesday!

The boys varsity game scheduled for today at 330 has been cancelled and will be rescheduled.

For anyone playing a spring sport- mandatory sports meeting tomorrow at 6pm in the JHS auditorium. Parents are strongly urged to attend. Athletes should bring a case of water to donate to the boosters club. Tshirts and decals will be for sale.

Boosters has some big events coming up and need HELP. We have created an online sign up page. Please follow the link below to sign up. If you have any problems or don’t want to sign up online, just let me know when you would like to volunteer. Football games start at 7 but we need help 60-90 minutes before the start. You can sign up for just a half or the whole time. Remember- you do not need to pay to get into an event if you are helping with concessions.

The Board of Education has opened up to the public feedback regarding the idea of "pay to play" which may be in effect this fall. If you could take a minute to weigh in with comments HCPS really needs to be better informed on how this will affect our athletes and their families. Please go to www.hcps.org, scroll down the page to "public comment" and respond to "collecting funds from students". Please take a minute to let HCPS hear your thoughts and share this info with others!
