Developing and Using Models!
Students can still use and develop models during this time of distance learning! In this interactive activity, students have an opportunity to apply their understanding of Earth's systems to construct an explanation for a given model. Furthermore, they have an opportunity to develop their own model and create an explanation elaborating on the interaction of Earth's systems within their model.
This activity can easily be incorporated into the Elaboration or Evaluation portion of a 5E Science lesson.!

On Saturday, I officially launched Science with Mrs.Broadus a few days ago!
I have a passion for helping others! I remember how it use to take me DAYS to create a semi decent Science lesson. I remember how I use to struggle with finding engaging and interactive activities to incorporate into my Science lessons that still aligned with the Science standards (long before the Next Generation Science Standards [NGSS]).
I want to help teachers with their Science lesson planning by helping them from my failures. As such, I have created interactive and engaging activities that are aligned with NGSS that Science teachers can implement in their Science instruction. I have created resources such as Claim-Evidence-Reasoning activities, Developing and Using Models activities, Vocabulary activities, and more that take the guesswork out of Science planning for teachers!
