Pillsbury Crescent Roll Taco Bake

Ingredients:

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- Sour cream and salsa for serving

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
3. Add the taco seasoning and water to the skillet with the beef. Stir to combine and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
4. Unroll the crescent rolls and press them into the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, pressing the seams together to form a solid crust.
5. Spread the seasoned beef mixture over the crescent roll crust. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
7. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, and chopped green onions.
8. Serve with sour cream and salsa on the side.

Fried Cinnamon Bananas

Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions:
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add honey and cinnamon to the skillet, stirring until combined.
Add banana slices to the skillet in a single layer.
Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until bananas are caramelized and golden brown.
Remove from heat and serve immediately.

Bacon Jam Burgers Recipe

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
Salt and black pepper, to taste
4 hamburger buns
4 slices cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your favorite)
1/2 cup bacon jam (store-bought or homemade)
Lettuce leaves
Sliced tomatoes
Sliced red onions (optional)
Mayonnaise or your favorite burger condiments (optional)

For the Bacon Jam:
1 pound bacon, chopped
1 large onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup brewed coffee
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions:
Prepare the Bacon Jam (if making from scratch):
In a large skillet or frying pan, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove the bacon from the pan and drain on paper towels, reserving the bacon grease in the pan.
In the same skillet with the bacon grease, add the finely chopped onion. Cook until the onion is soft and translucent.
Return the cooked bacon to the skillet. Add the brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, brewed coffee, maple syrup, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer the mixture, stirring occasionally, until thick and syrupy, about 30-40 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

Prepare the Burgers:
Preheat your grill or stovetop grill pan over medium-high heat.
Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Season each patty with salt and black pepper.
Grill the burger patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of cheese on top of each patty and let it melt.

Assemble the Burgers:
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill until lightly golden brown.
Spread a generous amount of bacon jam on the bottom half of each toasted bun.
Place a lettuce leaf and sliced tomato on top of the bacon jam.
Add a grilled burger patty with melted cheese on top.
Optional: Add sliced red onions and mayonnaise or your favorite burger condiments.
Top with the other half of the toasted bun.
Enjoy them at your next barbecue or weeknight dinner for a tasty twist on a classic burger!
