We all grieve differently and what that means is that not only do we grieve differently from one another but we also grieve each person we lose differently.

However you grieve is okay as long as you are being true to yourself.

Remember to give yourself grace today, you are doing better than you think.

Healing takes time ❤️ and we are rooting for you!

As many may not know, our Director of Digital Communications also has a background in Social Work and a minor in Indigenous Studies.

She mentioned that educating about trauma, lateral violence and crabs in the bucket syndrome would be beneficial as a lot of us are working towards healing and becoming better versions of ourselves. We will feature more next week around lateral violence and where the crabs in the bucket syndrome originated.

The guide book talks about boundaries and it coming up reverse it looks like I need to examine some of mine and where they are and how often I enforce them. This is a good reminder that sometimes some boundaries are just temporary and some are just not strong enough. We can constantly make adjustments as needed.

Knowing when and if to walk away. It pairs nicely with the Four of Flowers.

Being able to check with in myself and realize where I am in the world and how I am showing up. This is something that has gotten easier over the last year.

I can still have fun and create l. I can still explore and stay curious. It’s needed.

1. My theme of the year is - Self-Care is not Selfish.

This is something I’m working on internalizing. I’ve discovered this 5 years ago but I still struggling with living it.

2. What lessons have I learned in the past year?
Take responsibility for your own energy.

That is 💯 what I have been working on last year. I can’t control how other people show up but I can control how I show up.

3. What should I be leaving in 2023?

Love yourself enough to honor when you need to walk away.

4. What aspect from last year should I pull back from?

Acknowledge your fear and continue on.

I think I was in a spot last year and previous years where I had to just leave in order to protect my peace but this year is about confronting.

As a Pisces Moon I love this. It’s okay to be in my feels and embrace my emotions. Sometimes I do need to just feel.

I have been doing too much all at once like I am in my early 20s and now that I am twice that it catches up with me much more easily. 😂

Another reminder to nurture myself and continue to fill cups who fill mine. This was something that took a long time to learn. When doing things for others it needs to be reciprocal or you will burn out.
