It’s Feature Friday! 🎉 Meet DeAnn Wilson!

DeAnn has worked as the Mercy Cleft Lip and Palate and Craniofacial Deformities Nurse since 2004, this position was transitioned to Nurse Practitioner in 2012. In addition to seeing patients with cleft lips, palates and craniofacial conditions, she also sees patients for positional plagiocephaly, infantile hemangiomas, newborns with ear cartilage deformities, suture removal and wound care from traumatic injuries and embedded earring backs. Before that, she worked at St. Louis Children’s Hospital for 22 years as a staff nurse on the Surgery/ Trauma floor. She enjoys hiking and traveling to the National Parks. To date, she has visited 41 of the 63 National Parks and is hoping to visit all of them.
