You deserve the gift of being still, of feeling into yourself, slowing down, nurturing yourself, and savoring time, every day of the week. It may feel impossible to do...... making time for yourself. But trust me when I say, that gifting yourself with this ritual at least once every week, you will gain a new layer of self appreciation, a sense of calm, and gratitude for this gift of self-replenishment you prioritized for your self.
Here is one powerful way you can set Sacred space for yourself and completely make most of your time in just (or even under) 1 hour.
It's what I call Sacred Bathtime Ritual: Warm water has such healing power to purify, cleanse, nurture, release and soothe emotional impurities from the body and even amplify your thoughts, wishes, intentions and prayers.
When infused with herbals and Epsom salts, special intentional music and atmosphere, you can create one of the most healing experiences which you will want to continue as part of your energetic maintenance routine.
These bathtime rituals have been so incredibly nurturing to my spirit, that I would bring a journal with me, as during much clearing, ideas from the soul would flow through so easily. I once stayed in the bath for about 3 hours because that's what my body needed. If you are limited on time, 25-45 min can be just as powerful. As long as the setting and tone is set mindfully.
Bring a large mug of tea or glass of water or green juice to sip on to keep well hydrated during this time. Here are a few ideas to enhance your bath in a way that feels medicinal, alchemical, purifying and rejuvenating.
Add some epsom bath salts or herbal bath blend that include rose petals, lavender, chamomile, calendula, ginseng, peppermint, ginger, citrus, and honey, favorite essential oil blend or mustard bath for an extra detoxing and lymph draining soak.
Gather some flowers and plants from your home and put them around the tub.
Turn off the lights and Light some candles or even battery operated tea lights.
Play soothing, meditative ritual music.

Sometimes...all you need is to slow down in order to replenish your system.
For me, laying in the sun....eating fruit...drinking a large mineral rich iced greens infused water.... moving my body slowly and consciously in delicious water (my own intuitive practice of aquatic ecstatic flow)....listening to soothing music....is just what my nervous system, mind, and body needs to create the space for inspiration to keep flowing through.
I used to feel such guilt if I use my time for relaxation and slowness...but I now understand the incredible importance of slowing down, and in turn, this gives me just the boost I need to be truly productive in the most naturally inspired way.

There are many factors to keeping your vibration high...the clothing your wear included.....it's documented in the Bible..and why Sacred clothing is usually made in cotton.
“In 2003, a Jewish doctor named Heidi Yellen conducted a study on the frequencies of fabric.
According to this study, the human body has a signature frequency of 100, and organic cotton is also the same. The study showed that if the number is lower than 100, it actually puts a strain on the body. A diseased, nearly dead person has a frequency of about 15, and that is where polyester, rayon, and silk register. Nonorganic cotton registers a signature frequency of about 70.
If the fabric has a higher frequency, it gives energy to the body. This is where linen comes in as a super-fabric. Its frequency is 5,000. Wool is also 5,000, but when mixed together with linen, the frequencies cancel each other out and fall to zero.
Even wearing a wool sweater on top of a linen outfit in a study collapsed the electrical field. The reason for this could be that the energy field of wool flows from left to right, while that of linen flows in the opposite direction, from right to left.”🤍

Let's talk agreements. It's when 2 parties come together to uphold a set of actions or behaviors or service in exchange for something; either monetary exchange or whatever their particular agreement is. When an agreement is made, both parties are responsible for upholding their promised set of offerings.
In order to have both parties involved feeling satisfied with their agreement, both parties must respect and keep their designated duties with integrity.
If surprise terms come up after the agreement was made, it's only fair to change the outcome on the other end to meet those changes. One party cannot change the terms or add to them thinking that the other side will remain the same. This is undermining, even disrespecting the agreement and the other party involved.
Communication is key here. If changes must be made, be incredibly clear and transparent and be ready for the other party to change their terms to fit the changes on your end. Otherwise, resentment is created; dissonance and conflict arises and it can spiral on from there.
But when communication is clear, respect and understanding is present, the two parties can re-evaluate their agreement and have it fit their new changes.
At the same time, if your end of the agreement is compromising your well-being in any way, clarify the terms that feel good to you *before* going into this agreement. This will create inner conflict, resentment towards yourself and the other and even harm your well being. Be sure that your end of the agreement feels supportive to both you and the other.
Human relating is not the easiest thing, but it is an art we can master with an open heart, and open mind, and open, direct compassionate communication.

12 Simple Actions That Move, Shift, Clear & Rejuvenate Your Energy Instantly! (For those that are Needing an Instant Reset Button)
Here are some simple, immediate actions you can take to give yourself that "breath of fresh air" you need:
Clearing the Clutter in your Home/Space: tiding papers, folding and putting away clothes, vacuuming, doing the dishes if you are accustomed to letting your sink get full before doing them, are great ways to to feel more calm. By having your home clean, tidy and neat, your mind will immediately feel de-cluttered, more at ease, more cared for, and have you feeling truly supported.
Taking a shower. I also love taking baths or going for a swim to rejuvenate, but those are more of a time investment, and a bath is usually great before bed as they calm us down instead of energizing us. For a quick boost of energy and feeling of true rejuvenation, a simple 5 minute shower is all it takes. Use your favorite naturally scented foaming body wash (I recommend rose or lavender or anything that soothes your senses and makes you feel pampered) and loofah, and intentionally sloughing off all the stress and energy you want to release.....letting all of your stress melt away. After getting dressed, combing out your hair, you will feel like a new person.
Breath, Movement and Sound: Putting on some music that gets your body moving is physically moving the energy in your body. Stretching, breathing deep, and making sounds in whichever way it wants to come out does the body wonders. Also, the practice of shaking different parts of your body is a hands on approach to literally shaking out the stagnant stress, anger, sadness, frustration and energy you are wanting to get rid of, move out of your system. You can enhance this by tapping every part of your body, limb by limb, to move it all out of your muscles. Even 10 minutes of this will have you deeply shifting the state your mind and body is in.
A simple breathwork practice for just a few minutes can calm and clear.. simply close your eyes, take your thumb to one nostril and breath in through the open nostril, then exhale our of that same nostril and now cover the opposite nostril and deeply breath in and out, ever so slowly (taking a count of 5) and repeating the process for about 2-4 minutes is all it takes.
Going Outside (In Nature). Just going outside and being amongst the natural elements immediately calms and rejuvenates....by taking in fresh air, noticing the natural beauty around you, from the leaves, the trees, the flowers, the clouds, to the mountains; sometimes its all that it takes to bring you back to your truest essence of love, and offers you a feeling of support and newfound inspiration.
Drinking a Superfood Smoothie. Sometimes, your body is feeling low on energy; especially when you are stressed and feeling stuffy. A delicious cold smoothie rich in vitamins and minerals could be just the treat your body needs to feel uplifted and truly nourished, and will offer you a natural boost of energy and feeling better.
Here are 3 simple recipes that you may adopt as your go to. They are that nourishing.
Berry Dreamy Acai Berry Smoothie: Half a frozen Banana, Half an unsweetened Acai Packet, 1 cup of wild blueberries (did you know that wild blueberries are double high in antioxidants because they grow in harsh weather, which signifies true resilience. This is the energy in which you are consuming.), 1 nub fresh ginger, sprinkle of lavender (brings a naturally calming, soothing, and deliciously ethereal essence), 1 t spirulina or Superfood Greens Mix, 1 scoop Vanilla Collagen Peptides or favorite Protein Powder, 1 cup Soy or Oat Milk. Blend.
Chocolate Date Tahini Smoothie: This Smoothie is pure decadence and will have you forget anything you have going on and offer you a moment of pure bliss and pleasure. It nurtures your bones and muscles with calcium and Omega 3s, boosts your mood with the magnesium, satisfies that sweet tooth and and just feels like silk going down.
Here is my go to Ultra Decadent Chocolate Tahini Smoothie: Half Frozen Banana, 2 pitted Medjool Dates, 1 T Tahini, 1 Nub Ginger, sprinkle of cinnamon and cardamom, 1T scoop vanilla collagen Peptides or Protein Powder (optional), 1 T Vitamineral Earth Powder (this is my favorite superfood for winter and especially Autumn, as it has a true grounding effect with all of the ingredients that come from the ground.), 1 cup Plant Milk of choice, 4 ice cubes, blend. If you want to feel extra luxurious, add in half a cup of frozen dark sweet cherries.Let me know how you feel after this one.....It's a decadent dream...
Your Not So Basic Green Smoothie: Half Frozen Banana, nub ginger, Fresh Mint Leaves, 1 cup frozen green grapes or honeydew, 1 stalk celery chopped, 1 inch piece of fresh Aloe, 1 Handful of Baby Spinach, 1 Scoop Collagen Peptides, 1t spirulina or 1T supergreens Mix, 1 cup Plant Milk Of Choice, Blend. This smoothie is so hydrating, rich in chlorophyll which will infuse your cells with pure, new oxygen, offering you a natural boost on a cellular level. After this smoothie, you will feel renewed and inspired.....
Yoga: A morning/afternoon vinyasa flow will always shift your energy, and even energize. (Especially with that shower after practice...) But sometimes you are feeling low on energy and just cant get yourself to move that rigorously. This is what makes Yin yoga oh-so-special. Yin yoga is a practice done mostly laying down, and puts you in positions that clears your mind, your lymph nodes, offering energy and blood and oxygen to move through your body. The deep breathwork that goes along with the movements allows for deep stagnant emotions to move through. Yin's postures also offer your body an intelligence to trigger the depths of your being and has the profound power to do some very deep clearing energetic-emotional work without too much rigorous or fast paced effort. Yin works with the fascia of the body (the webbing between your muscles and bones), which is believed to hold our deepest emotions and painful memories- so when stretched, they are able to release). Completing a Yin Yoga class can have you feeling the emotional purge on a cellular level, possibly offer some long held memories to surface, and even tears to move through. Don't forget to drink plenty of water after a Yin Yoga class to assist the movement and release of these emotions...An added therapeutic component could be to sit and journal whatever comes up for you after class, so you can document what memories/emotions are being moved through, and to notice the profound effects taking place.
Burning Sage or Palo Santo: If you are feeling heavy or stagnant emotions in a space, and most importantly in your home, burning some sacred herb like Palo Santo, Sweet Grass or Sage, purify the air from energetic toxins (and even viral infections lingering in the air- sage is literally anti bacterial and Palo Santo is anti-viral, and an old age remedy for sore throats and throat infections), hence cleaning the air on a literal level, and at the same time clearing negative, heavy energy that's lingering. If you have been spending time in bed while feeling intense energies of sadness, or having bad dreams, burning these sacred herbs around your mattress, bedding and airing out your bedding, can move those energy out as well. Make sure to get the nooks and crannies of every room to make sure nothing is lingering in the corners.
Burning these sacred herbs while keeping the doors and windows open for optimal airing out of your space for optimal purification of your space.
Drinking a Large Glass of Water: Sometimes our bodies can do funny things when we are dehydrated. We can feel sluggish, low on energy, with headache or muscle aches, foggy in the head and even bad mood simply because we are deprived of the oxygen levels we need to function at our most optimal, and it could simply be because our cells are thirsty! Most of us go around trying to function all day while dehydrated. Water is also nature's purifyer and and is not only helpful for cleaning on a physical level, but at an energetic level. So next time you notice yourself feeling less than clear and energized, ask yourself if you had enough to drink today and drink a tall glass of delicious and cell nourishing (filtered) water.
You can also snack on some hydrating foods that offer that pick me up..
Rejuvenating foods that are incredibly hydrating are : Melons, cucumbers, romaine lettuce, fresh celery, grapes, tomatoes..
Candle Meditation: Burning a candle and simply looking into the flame for 1-3 minutes has the power of clearing the mind, and rejuvenating the spirit. Fire can be an incredibly healing element to work with when both dissolving energies, as well as enhancing intentions. When worked with Sacredly, fire can be your energetic ally.
Burning Away Your Emotions: Sitting in a quiet space, and writing down the emotions that surface, and then literally burning them with a candle while intentionally stating that this is a ceremonial act of releasing those emotions can be a deeply therapeutic way to move your emotions from within your self, and out, and ultimately diffusing them by burning away. This literal act of burning your emotions can be really helpful as you witness them dissolve into thin air.

Incorporating these practices as part of your daily routine is an amazing way to nurture your energetic hygiene and allows you to move things through before they accumulate- because emotional constipation is real, and sometimes, we just need a quick and simple method for resetting the space. So true. It's not easy being the one in your family doing things differently. You may be cast as wierd, strange, annoying, rude, mis-understandable...whatever it is. But this is a reminder that the work you are doing is powerful. Working on yourself can the most challenging and lonely and painful at times, but ultimately, the most rewarding.
