George Swire Racing
2022 my first season in a kart! Going into 2024 British kart championship 😃
What a season it's been… not in George’s favor, to say the very least.
1st round: Shunted off the track, race ruined.
2nd round: Racing with a cracked chassis, George knew something was wrong but couldn’t pinpoint the issue.
3rd round: Engine malfunction.
4th round: P3 & a podium finish 🥳
5th round: Shunted off the track.
To say there have been tears is an understatement, and with good reason.
George feels deflated, not because of his driving, but due to factors beyond his control.
However, we always remind him, "what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger." His determination and passion for karting make me so proud as a mum. For George, karting isn’t just a hobby—it’s everything.
His race results & championship standings this season don’t reflect the driver he truly is, and it’s a tough pill to swallow. The financial strain is real, but the thought of taking this away from him would be like taking away his hopes and dreams 💔.
On the bright side, we take the positives: setting fastest laps, a podium finish, and most of all, Driver of the Day after making up 19 places!
Now, it’s time to put this season behind us and look ahead to next year, with bigger goals and moving up a class! 💪🚗💨
Another weekend of what could have been for George, Definitely not the finish we wanted in the final round of the British Kart Championship & last race in MicroMax.
But as they say, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger 💪
Massive Congratulations to teammate Luke Milward Motorsport #38 for taking P1 in the championship and earning your ticket to the Grand Finals! 🎉🔥
🚨🚨Finals Day
With what can only be described as bad luck back on our side yesterday, George has sure got his work cut out today... But one thing is for sure — with pure focus and clean driving around him, he can do it! 💪
Send him all your luck! 🍀

🏁 Can You Help Our Son Continue to Follow His Dreams?🏁
When we first took George to indoor karting, we never imagined we’d be preparing for his first year of outdoor championships so soon. But with George securing P3 in the overall championship standings in just his second year, it's clear he has the talent and drive for what he loves most.
This season, we’ve seen George's incredible talent shine, even with limited seat time and challenges out of his control. Club rounds and trophy hunting aren’t his goals—George is driven to compete at the highest level.
But with his growth comes new challenges. As we move up a class next year, seat time becomes essential to give George a fighting chance.
Could you help sponsor George and support him in continuing to follow his dreams?
Any contribution will make a huge difference. Thank you for considering helping our future champion! 🏎️✨
What a weekend 4th Round of the Wera Tools British Kart Championships at Kimbolton
After the challenging season we’ve had, especially after Warden Law, we decided to take a step back (thanks to lotto win just not happening quick enough) 🫠
George had 6 weeks out of the seat before returning to Kimbolton. 🤦🏼♂️ Friday was tough, as expected, with some rust to shake off after the break.
Saturday’s Qualifying:P13
It was time to get back in the mix! 💪🏻
Heat 1: A solid start with a few places gained, but dropped back to P14.
Heat 2: Great first laps, making it up to P6, then fell back but fought hard to finish P11.
Pre-Final: George was back in form, gaining 6 places and even setting the event record! 💪🏻
Final: An outstanding performance from George! The 6-week break was forgotten as he battled at the front, nearly taking P2, and finishing P4 before being promoted to P3 after a penalty.
We’re so proud of George this weekend! His ability to bounce back and deliver when it mattered most was incredible.
Huge thank you to everyone who supported us!

Third Race of the Wera Tools British Kart Championships at Warden Law
Our bad luck continued to strike again 😩 It was a very hard and frustrating weekend…
Friday practice into Saturday morning, we struggled with kart set up along with the rest of the junior team. Qualifying was horrendous, ending in P21. The team worked hard to rectify the setup, and Sunday morning's practice went very well for all of us.
Unfortunately, we had some comings together with one kart in particular each race, which knocked us down the order 😩
We started P25 in the final and came together with the same kart on the first lap, taking us both off track 😡 and the pack was long gone… George got back on track and pushed forward to move up the order with a P5 final finish
Absolute stellar drive from George.
We just need to keep pushing, as we all know George has the raw pace; our luck will come 🙏🏻
Huge thank you to the team for getting things sorted. It was a very tough weekend, and they worked really hard to get us all back on pace. Congratulations to teammate Luke for P3!

Second Race of the Wera Tools British Kart Championships at Larkhall International Go-Kart Circuit
Heading into the weekend, we were confident, and George showed impressive pace during Friday's practice.
Saturday
- Qualified 4th, a strong starting position for Heat 1.
- Unfortunately, a starting issue on the grid meant we left last in the formation and couldn’t regain our position in time, resulting in a 5-second penalty and finishing P13.
- Heat 2, we dropped back at the first corner but fought back to finish 4th.
Sunday
- Warm-up: P1, a great start to the day.
- Starting 7th in the pre-final, but our bad luck was back 😩. The engine wouldn't start on the formation lap, forcing us to retire.
- In the final, starting 26th, we had nothing to lose. George made an incredible comeback, gaining 19 places with the fastest laps of the race, catching up to the front pack 💨. George was on fire 🔥. The question is, what if...
We remain optimistic and will keep pushing. There were many positives to take from George's pace this weekend.
Huge congratulations to teammate Luke Milward Motorsport #38 P2 in Micro & Josh Cormack Racing on P2 in Mini
Huge thanks to Toby & Jay for your coaching and support! We can't imagine how George would have been without you by his side. Your guidance means the world to us! 🌟
