Here at Poupou, some preparations are in order!!
We are almost ready for the lessons, the only thing left is the assembly of the new loom. It was just delivered from www.loom-wool.gr and now I have to do some screwing.
I'll see you next week in Thessaloniki!
Ώρα για ανακοινώσεις! 🤩

Look at that beauty!
These photos waited patiently in my phone for so long.
Annie, the super talented woman behind designed everything you see!
As you can guess, my part in this project is the woven piece! Some matched beautifully with this christening invitation.
I am very happy with this collaboration, thank you Annie! I hope we'll "meet" again somehow!
P.s. I have some big news coming up, so stay tuned.

Playing around with 3 heddles on my loom. Again!
We prepared some more pattern e-books with . Full instructions on how to thread 3 heddles or 2 heddles, a heddle rod and a pickup stick are included.
Check the link in her bio and get the e-books through her Etsy shop.
Locker hooking!
Trying something new today with the help of 's MWS March course.
This is going to be a tapestry for my best friend's home, so I am doing my very best work. You know what that means... It's been on my loom for a month now, weaving and unweaving, (is this even a word? 😛) and all I have is 20cm. I will stick to the plan from now on!
Also, I have never used soooo many colours in one project, around 45 that is, so another first there.
Wish me luck! ☺️
This is the most you will see until it's hanged in your house, so enjoy the sneak peek! 😉
Christmas themed mug rugs! 🎄🎅
Working with 3 heddles on my loom is sooo satisfying! This time to do some samples, to make sure these Christmas patterns are exactly right!
With my friend , we managed to create an e-book about with 3 heddles, on a . It contains 26 Christmas patterns plus everything you need to know about threading 3 heddles and weaving some krokbragd. It's available in Irini's Etsy shop, so check the link in her bio!
More !
I think I am officially addicted.
It is actually a great way to be creative when I need something quick and not so time consuming. ☺️
Oh, and these cotton ropes... Great job Gianna - The Ropes Store!
The pattern is inspired by Hydrangea's work. 🙏
Look at that beauty!
Also look how different the colours look under different light settings 🤔
I made this beautiful blue weave for a dear friend who wanted to sew a pair of pants for her son's christening! I am really pleased with the way it turned out!
It looks so good on him, don't you think?
Frame weaving time!
These days I am busy as a 🐝. All these things to do and so little time to do them.
I am trying to stay creative and practice my frame weaving skills! Weaving a small frame takes just the time I have to spare. 😊
How are your summer days?
New adventures!
I just started weaving some more pillow covers to go with those I made last week.
I think it's a good match! What do you think?
Working with some company! 😉
Can you see the little girl under my loom?
Theodora's first weaving loom!
My parents gave me this loom, as a gift, 25 years ago and marked the beginning of my weaving journey. I have no idea where they got it from or even why! I know, my mom has memories of her grandmother weaving on a greek traditional loom but she has never woven anything herself.
Recently, I took this little loom out of the back of a closet, where it was sitting for many many years. We cleaned it up, changed some strings and got it warped and ready for my daughter's first weaving adventure! And look what she's done, already!
Is this the beginning of a family tradition? 😊
For the record, I believe that's a loom! 🤟
These pillow covers are taking forever!
I am really dedicated to this project so I am practicing my patience skills. 😌
Can you see I am cheating? 🤫
Let's make pillow covers 😉
I decided to give another try. For the pattern, I was thinking of something more complex but this minimal design caught my eye.
Fellow I have to admit I am cheating... I am doing some for the white part. 🤫
Can you tell?
Here comes the cotton!
A ton of new cotton yarn came today and I think of giving krokbragd another shot. I am thinking pillows but who knows...
Also, I know have two heddles of the same dent size. Yay! 🤟
🥰 My friend Ειρήνη Φωτιάδη, from www.loom-wool.gr sent me all these. Go check her amazing collection of yarn.
Finally, I hanged this one.
It has been in my almost-finished-projects closet for a loooong time! 😂 Once something's off the loom, gets in a to-do list, that's only getting longer... Oh yes, I am that person.
Do you have any almost-finished projects that tou keep postponing completing them?
⭐Once again, I combined the work of my favourite weavers. The technique is from October's project by and the twill is from series by .kc

Belts, belts, belts!
My amazing friends, who created , asked me to make some macrame belts for this season and this is a small timelapse of the process.
P.s. Go check their gorgeous clothes!

Here it is, my new scarf!
I finally managed to finish this scarf, soon enough for these cold days of March.
It measures 40 * 220cm plus fringe.

Three heddles on the loom🤩
🎵🎶🎶
I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it
I'm about to lose control and I think I like it!!!
I know I said no more scarves BUT weaving with three heddles on a rigid heddle loom was something I had to try and what's better than some diamond twill on a scarf? 😉
My brother made a block set for three heddles that makes the process a lot easier!
Can you tell the three different heddles though? 😂
Last scarf of the season!
This one is mine.
I made gifts for most of my friends and family this winter and finally I got my turn.
I wasn't expecting this result, I thought it would look a lot different but this is what I got. I think I like it anyway!
What do you think?
I posted about this scarf near the holidays. Well, it's been ready for some time and I forgot to show you.
I enjoyed making it! 😏 Easy-breezy-one-color weft.
I am not sure about the fringe though. Should I twist them or leave them like that?

Frame twill weaving!
It was about time to practice my skills in these two techniques.

And Voila!
It's been almost a month since I last posted. 😔
I was super busy lately, I barely managed to weave a scarf. I am trying to do something creative everyday so I am crocheting a pink shawl for a dear friend. 😊
I hope you are all doing great!

Let's do some stripes!
Another first for me! I have never done stripes before.
This scarf is for my brother and he asked specifically for a "quiet" one. Well, this is me doing "quiet". 😉

And a happy new year!
This holiday season was all about family.👨👩👧 And we had a lot of fun, given the circumstances. I missed our friends though and I wish 2021 brings us together again.
What about you? 😊
P.s. I made this pink scarf as a gift. It's pretty big and I loved it!
Can't promise that's the last one! Maybe, the last in 2020...😂
Oh, the possibilities... Plaid is an endless source of inspiration! I seriously cannot stop.
Plaid, plaid, plaid...
Washed and ready! Didn't expect to like this so much.

First ever tartan scarf!
I really enjoyed making this beauty.
Oh yes, I finished it already. Still needs to take a bath though.
Stay tuned! 😉
Want to see some close-ups?
Well, I think it is time to introduce myself! 🧑
I am Christina and yesterday I turned 32.🎂 When I was 20 I thought 32 was really far away and yet here I am.
Let's see...
I am married to my love, Tasos and we have an amazing 2-year-old, Theodora and a forever puppy, 8-year-old golden retriever, Scruffy!
I always liked making stuff. My first loom, was a gift from my parents when I was 10 or 11, not really sure. Since then I taught myself how to knit, crochet, weave etc. I still need to learn how to sew though...
This account is basically about weaving and knotting!
I hope you enjoy it!
Stay safe!

Happy Friday!
Did you decorate for Christmas yet? We are ready from last weekend. Of course, half of the time my daughter rearranges the tree ornaments... Everyday something new is happening up there. 😂
P.S. This was an amazing week for me! 200 followed this account and I am so grateful for that. ❤️
Thank you so much for the support! 🙏
Back on the loom for some Christmas decorations. 🎄
I am experimenting with some gold accents. I think I like the look of it. What do you think?

My little corner in our living room. 🦛
My loom is currently "naked" and my daughter is "messing" with it. She loves turning the front beam, so it's her job every time I roll my weavings.
Kid's scarf on the loom! ☃️
I am not sure about the measurements of a kid's scarf. I think it is going to be a bit wide and long.

I see colourful squares!
I am practicing my weaving skills. Oh, it is so much time consuming and so satisfying at the same time.
But, seriously, is it going to end somehow?
Plant hanger details!
Plant hangers are sooooo great for indoor plants. You can put them near the windows for extra light on your plants. ☀️
