Earwig Music Company owner and producer Michael Frank took up the harmonica and blues record collecting in junior high school. After college he moved to Chicago to meet as many blues musicians as he could. He founded his legendary record label in 1978, while managing the careers of traditional blues guitarists David “Honeyboy” Edwards and Jim Brewer. He also toured worldwide playing harmonica with Honeyboy Edwards. He is the co-Producer of the documentary Six Generations of the Blues – From Mississippi to Chicago.
