The toxicity of the internet and social media is nothing new but it is still discouraging. It never ceases to disappoint me when someone puts hours or days of their life into something and is brave enough to share it with the world just to have some insecure and immature troll post a disparaging comment or takes the 2 seconds it takes to dislike something you put a lot of work into.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all about critical feedback, it is how we evolve and get better, but I am saddened by a society where so many people feel the need to purposely put down others. I would venture to guess that none of these trolls have ever risked putting themselves out there in the world and have never felt the sting of someone being unfairly critical of their work.

My podcasts have brought me very little financial gain and I do them to bring attention to the victims and survivors of crime so I'll keep going but I just wish we lived in a world where support and kindness outweighed toxicity.

I know most of you are amazing and supportive so this is reaching to wrong audience anyway, but it's just a reminder to live by the golden rule and if we all did that, the world would be a much better place.
