Auditions are complete, and we will be making an official announcement early next week as to the identity of the newest Skunk.

Time for a quick update from Fusty's den.

Guitarist auditions are under way. We have done two so far, with more to come next week and the week after.

The plan is that once our new guitarist is in place, we will do a couple of open mics to get used to performing together in the live environment, before we return to playing full gigs.

We will keep you updated via this page. In the meantime, once we have scheduled the open mics, we would really appreciate some support, so please come along if you can. Besides, you'll be one of the first to get to check out the new line-up!

Hello, all you lovely Skunksters!

Unfortunately, we will not now be playing the Black Star in Stourport on 27 January.

This is due to our current search for a new guitarist. We want to ensure that we get the ideal person in, so we will not rush into a decision.

We still have two more dates at the Black Star later in 2024 and can't wait to play there once the new line-up is in place.

Regarding a new guitarist, auditions are under way and we hope to have some news for you soon.

We are Kidderminster based.

We mainly play old school Rock and Metal covers, plus a few surprises!

Gigging throughout Worcestershire and the West Midlands. Festival appearances include Worcester Music Festival 2022 & 2023, Kidderminster Music Fest 2023 and Upton Blues Festival 2023 (rebooked for 2024).

We rehearse weekly, and look to play gigs twice a month.

Several gigs already booked for 2024, up to December.

Good evening, everyone.

We are sorry to inform you that we have parted company with Rob, who has been our guitarist since August 2022.

This decision has not been made lightly, and was very difficult as we all really like Rob.

However, Adam, Emma and I feel this is the best move for the band, going forward.

We would like to thank Rob for his efforts during his time with us, and wish him well for the future.

Good evening, Skunksters!

We played our last gig of 2023 last night at Voodoo Blue Lounge in Brierley Hill.

Although we had some sound issues, we had a good response from an audience which while not huge in numbers, made up for that with enthusiasm and encouragement.

Thank you if you were there, we really appreciate your support.

VBL has only been open for two weeks, but is a real gem of a place to play.

The owner and his staff are really nice, very obliging and helpful, which is not the case at some venues.

They already have loads of bands booked, including a return for us in September 2024, and have organised an open mic every Wednesday evening.

If you live nearby, or just fancy a night out somewhere new, please get down there.

KS will see you in the New Year!
