A huge well done to our boys in Red and White❤️🤍 today in the schools football final at Cusack Park. They battled to the end, but unfortunately, it wasn't their day!! Well done to our worthy opponents, Streamstown.

Westmeath students’ pollution-fighting boat design wins Engineers Ireland award | Westmeath Examiner Students at St Mary’s National School, Collinstown are this year’s recipients of Engineers Ireland’s Young Engineers Award, which celebrates creative engineering ideas to tackle community issues.

Thank u to everyone who supported our event last night, it was very much appreciated.
It was great to see the school staff and members of the collinstown community coming together to support our school.

We would have loved to have seen more parents there as the money we raise supports the school and our children.

We have committed to assist with the repainting of the school, pay for half the cost of the school tour busses, purchase classroom supplies and play equipment, The communion and confirmation parties, grand parents day, Santa's visit.. sports day extras and more, unfortunately without enough support it would be impossible to do this.

Thanks again everyone, we had a super night, we hope you did too!

We need to raise awareness about the status of the Mullingar Diabetic Paediatric Clinic. You may be aware of the publicity over the last number of days since all parents were advised that the clinic is at breaking point as our only nurse can no longer handle the pressure and rightly so!

A very simple solution is available to the HSE as another suitably qualified nurse interviewed and was successful in for this role but she was not released owing to ward pressures. She can be appointed so our main nurse can return safely and the ward position can be back filled with agency nurses.

We are seeking pressure to continue to be raised to force the hospital into action.

This is harrowing but it impacts 145 children and teens - these are people not just numbers.

Please share as wide as you can.
