My body is my last line of defense.
If all else fails- and I can wake up feeling good in my own skin- that’s all I need to keep moving (literally).
Our body feeds our brain, and our brain feeds our mindset.
Healthy body, healthy brain, healthy mindset.
The way we decide to treat our body- can be the first step to the way we decide to treat our mindset.
I’ve made so much room to take care of my body and to work my ass off to take care of others👩⚕️... I feel physically prepared to be able to endure long work hours, sleepless nights and multiple workouts each day. Always willing to sacrifice my own time to increase the quality of life for others 👩⚕️
In the work environment- things come easily. Everything makes sense- actions are easy to initiate and take. The goal is clear- and therefore the tasks become clear. The goal is to get the patient to their ultimate health (both body and mind). Everything revolves around the patient- making decisions clear and team efforts communal. Moving past poor decisions and negative feelings is necessary and therefore the obvious move to always make.
Outside of work- things get more complicated.
It recently hit me hard 🌩 that I need to put in the time to work towards my mindset. Learn how to remove unwanted emotions and process negativity quickly enough to move forward diligently and thoughtfully without wasting time. Live above the drama!
It’s not just a matter of going- it’s a matter of how I am getting there. It’s not just a matter of helping- it’s a matter of how am I helping.
I want to be a woman who can help effectively, thoughtfully react, control her angers, stand up to her fears, speak honesty from her heart and love with inexcusable expectations along with limitless room for forgiveness.
I want my mind to be where my body is at. Where I am physically confident- mentally confident. Where I am mentally confident- physically following.
