Gadforged Studios
My attempt at an independent game studio. More updates to come as new content is made.
Spend the last month learning 3d modeling in Blender. What does everyone think about this level of detail for the game?
Thought I would share some concept art for my upcoming game. Going for a Victorian/Gilded era historical setting. Before anyone thinks I am an artist, these are AI Generated. I wish I had some talent in art to do this by hand.
This is really exciting! I have a playable demo ready for anyone who wants to see what I have so far. Just follow this google drive link and download either the standard quality or low quality build and run.
Please look through the README file before playing, it covers the controls and current limitations of the game.
This is very much still in progress so please be patient. As it is in progress, there is currently no in-game UI and you must use clt + alt + delete to exit the game.

Almost have a combat demo ready. I have been working a lot of hours getting this somewhat playable and after a bit of tuning, I think I am ready to let some people run a small test. Please let me know if you want a link to the alpha copy.
As a solo game developer, I have to prioritize features while I am developing. Which of these features do you think is most important?
Smooth combat system and controls
Reactive AI enemies
Compelling, interactive story
Cooperative gameplay
Stunning Artwork
Something else?
After finally graduating and getting moved into a more permanent place, I am finally able to start working on my game project. What do you all think of the environment style I am using here?
Please let me know if you'd like to help alpha test my game as I progress through the development cycle.
Getting combat combos implemented. Is the complexity ok? or should I add more too it.
Here is a better look at the environment style I am going for. It is still a work in progress but I am starting to get a hang of it.
Been working on some player controls for my game, the map visuals won't look like this, I am just using a demo environment now for tuning.
Finally got some time to work more on my game. Some of you might recognize this place, I will leave it for the people who do to guess where it is.
Working on generating a hex map in unity. Slowly getting there.
For those of you interested in game dev, I have been trying to learn how to procedurally generate worlds, what better than making a Minecraft-like game to learn.
This is the tutorial I have been following so far. Hoping to apply something like this to my upcoming game.

Welcome to my page. Please be patient as new content is created in the coming weeks. I am looking forward to revealing my first project soon after more concept art is generated.
