Today, we are making the official announcement of the 2023 Local Assemblies Performance Assessment report aside launching the Technical Audot Report. When I found that some Coumcils failed to perform last year, I challenged all Councils to pull up their socks to ensure they all perfectly perform so that they should qualify to get the World Bank funded Governance to Enable Service Delivery (GEDD) grant. I am happy to note that they have all performed well and they have all qualified to receive this year's GESD grant. My Ministry will award them at a function held at SunBird Livingstonia in Salima this morning.
