With 2024 being a presidential election year we mustn't stay home and become complacent. The gains made in the 1964 Civil Rights Act are slowly being eroded such as banning books, a woman's right to choose, and voting rights! That is what is at stake and make no mistake about it, all of these basic civil rights are on the ballot this year!
Don't let this great man's sacrifice be forgotten and taken for granted....STAY WOKE!!

Black History is American History!
Bessie Coleman may have had a short time on Earth, but in her 34 years she made major impacts on American history. The first Black and first Indigenous American, female pilot in the U.S., "Brave Bessie" needed to travel to France to attend flight school. She then returned to show America that women in planes could be known for flips, stunts, and fearlessly standing up for what's right. Bessie notably refused to perform at locations that wouldn't admit people of her race, and very openly gave encouragement & flight lessons to Black women across the country. She flew into all our hearts and today we celebrate her. ❤️
