A Danish artist based in south London, makes performance, video, fabric and text works, and performs with the music project Ectopia, which was .arts.centre’s band-in-residence in 2016 ✨

Whether in homes, clubs, galleries or streets, his performances are always intimate stagings that combine personal recollections with theatrical deliveries 🔮

Xtravagant costumes, heels, make-up. Emotionally affective accordion performances where the heaviness of voice and sorrow of delivery transport artist and listener somewhere else entirely! 🧡

The third and final venue to introduce is 🛸

This is where we will be hosting our afterparty and dancing the night away until 5am 💃

This place was pretty ledgendary in the 90s back when it was Bluenote, when Russ Marland’s () party ‘Out in the Sticks’ used to happen there every weekend ✨ In an article about the clubnight, called Todmorden “a town famous for alien abductions, being home to two Nobel Prize winners and it's proximity to the hippy dippy Northern enclave that is Hebden Bridge. Overflowing with more good pubs than is necessary, there's a market that sells everything from baby grows to burritos… and a massive f**k off monument that gives whole place a distinctly acid-y, fallen rural idyll vibe.” 🌱👽

A venue that needs no introduction is 💥

This place has built a reputation not only in Todmorden but internationally - Gig and Waka’s commitment to the underground music scene has played a huge role in inspiring us to put on Iconoclast 💕

In fact, Iconoclast might not even exist if it wasn’t for Kiya and Kim first meeting there one evening, dancing the night away…which unsurprisingly lead to getting our t**s out on the dancefloor and we like to think this may have even played a part in inspiring the song ‘Dance Your Tit Out!’ by 😂😂 from one of the EPs out on Golden Lion Sounds… (oh yeah the Lion has it’s own record label too!) ✨

This year has already seen the likes of (Studio 54) + …and we are super excited to see there next month! 🎉

For Iconoclast in July, we’ll be taking over the whole pub with music throughout the day and night, featuring some special live performances in the evening. We’re hoping upstairs will be as much of a sexy sweat pit as last year! 🥵🔥

first opened in 2020 and is run by our good friends and talented artists + ✨

We would consider this place our home and a vital community hub for many q***r artists and musicians in Todmorden 💜 The list of treasured memories made here is countless... but some of our faves from the last year have been when played the most sweaty party for ever🔥🥵, the Trans Pennine Excess party with mega babes + 💕, NYE with all the lovely locals 🎉 and many open decks sessions on a Sunday to soothe our hangovers 🥰

This year we will be kicking off the festival with the garden party on the terrace 🌸🌻🌺🌼🌱 The day sesh will feature one of our very exciting headline acts (to be revealed soon!) 🦋🍄

This place is proof that size doesn't matter! 😉

Yesterday we received disappointing news from Smoke Nightclub that they can no longer host our event on Saturday due to unforeseen circumstances surrounding covid, meaning they are unable to open this weekend. We are gutted 😭

BUT DO NOT FEAR... our good friends at Nan Moor's are coming to the rescue! 💫💕 This means we will be turning Nan Moor's into a mini club, hooking up our great sound system and hosting the same line-up (!!!) from 7pm-LATE! 💥

This is going to be a very rare chance to see a mega lineup at a small, intimate venue! Anyone remember when we hosted Eris Drew + Octo Octa last year just before the first lockdown happened?! Well imagine that but with lasers and a smoke machine 👽✨

The night will now be limited capacity - with first come, first served on the door after ticket holders who will be guaranteed a spot. If you would like a refund, please message us and we can sort that out 🙃
