Allowing flowers such as dandelions and clovers to blossom on your lawn can greatly improve the amount of nectar available to the bees.
If you must use pesticides be sure not to use anything with neonicotinoids. Neonicotinoids are one of the biggest threats to the bee population. These chemicals include imidacloprid, thiamethoxam, clothianidin, thiacloprid, dinotefuran, acetamiprid, nitenpyram and sulfoxaflor. •
Such amazing creatures!

OLD GREENWICH HONEY, LLC on Twitter “FEATOONING: While a few bees hold onto a frame with their front legs, bottom legs are “grappled” together with other bees and it goes on and on and they all pile on. Bees find open space at the base of frames and start this “festooning” to create bees wax, filling the space.”
Let’s plant more flowers!!!
