Do you remember where you were on 9/11/2001?

I was driving to work when I heard the news on the radio and thought it was a joke. The prankster DJ was overcome with emotion, and as soon as I walked into my office, the scene was unfolding on live TV. I was nine months pregnant and terrified to bring another life into this world when it felt like all was collapsing.

That kid was born exactly 30 days later and is a senior in college today and thriving toward business leadership. A true light in the world in contrast to the fear I had leading to his arrival.

It's a cyclical world of dark and light. I'm grateful to have found some light in very dark times and recently visited the memorial in NYC. It still feels unreal, and I will never forget it.

Peace and love to all who lost someone that day, either physically or emotionally, as major trauma takes a toll on all who are touched by it. 🙏☮️💖
