What would NPR sound like in a world that included superhumans? How would disability be treated in such a world? What goes into writing about issues and identities that you aren't directly connected to, and what is the importance of including those who are in your writing process?

John Dorsey and Maximilian Clark, the creators of the Superhuman Public Radio podcast return to the podcast to discuss these questions and more!

As part of the creative process they reached out to me, a disabled person, to get my thoughts on an issue they had planned that dealt with disability in the world of their podcast. We'll be talking about that process, along with some of the other issues season 2 of Superhuman Public Radio goes into!

The future of Superhero Ethics is in your hands!

I've been running Superhero Ethics for more than six years- we've put out a lot of great episodes but I've been wondering if its time for a change, especially with so much Star Wars content keeping my other podcast busy. Whether you've never listened or you're a long time fan, I'd love to hear what you'd be most likely to tune in for in 2023. Below are some of the ideas I'm considering, but feel free to add your own suggestions!

1) Keep things as they are

2) Focus on new content as it comes out. Episodes may be more irregular in timing

3) Move to episodes that focus on a specific ethical question/topic, with more research and prep. Once or twice a month

4) Hang up Superhero Ethics and focus on Star Wars, or some new ways to talk about ethics in fandom
