Happy New Year everyone! Time for some classics 😁
Blasted Cutty with Ivorite…
This is the second Cutty of the pair that came from the same block, featuring grain rings running along the bowl rather than around. Getting two pipes of this quality from one block is very rare in my experience. It was just meant to be I guess 😁 The black blast goes perfectly with ivorite, and it makes quite the pair with the Au Naturale pipe I posted yesterday.
This may be my last pipe of 2023. I had originally planned for a Christmas pipe, but that isn’t going to happen in time. Who knows, maybe I’ll still be feeling festive around the new year! 😉
Stay tuned.
Au Naturale Cutty…
One of my favorite pipes thus far! The blast turned out spectacular, and the natural briar pairs perfectly with the black ox horn. This is my second Cutty to date, and the shape is really growing on me! I will be posting its sibling tomorrow 😁
Rings on rings…
Some briar was just born to be blasted. Even when it was smooth, the rings were visible!
Coming along nicely! This briar is ready for texture 👍
So much to be thankful for ❤️
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Quite the pair… Swipe for reverse progression!
My take on the classic “Cutty” shape. I was lucky enough to get two in one block of briar! This particular shape lends itself nicely to both grain orientations, in my opinion. It’s rare for me to get two pipes out of one block, and both of them have a ton of potential!
Both have been drilled & are moving on to the next steps! More to come!
Billiard with boxwood!
This is my first time combining a wedding band style accent with a flare mouthpiece. The idea was for the stem to add less visual weight than normal, and I think I achieved that. The deep brown blast pairing with the boxwood is also excellent. I’m quite happy with the way this turned out!
This pipe is currently available! Please DM me if you are interested 👍

Morning agenda…
Getting in some much needed shop time…
Should have a new pipe finished up in the next couple of days!
Every now and then, it’s time for a blowfish.
Back at it! About time for some texture on this billiard.
The making of a stem…
I would not say this is my favorite part of pipemaking, might call it the opposite. However, it is incredibly rewarding once you get past the tedious filing, sanding, and buffing.
This pipe finished and off to it’s new home!
Really happy with how this one turned out. The color pallet with the black, red, and boxwood goes wonderfully together! And the egg shape never gets old either 😁
Great way to round out the weekend!
Time for some boxwood!
Swipe to see the process 👍
Shiny 😁

Pipe making and pipe smoking simply go hand in hand 🤗

Happy Saturday everyone!
Time for a mouthpiece!
Not quite done blasting, but figured I’d get going on a mouthpiece 😁
Stay tuned…
Time to blast!
Detail sanding…
Not the standard use for a pipe reamer and a vice, but it sure is helpful in getting the shape just right 👍
New life…
Teardrop shanks present a fun challenge, in my opinion. They also allow for lots of creativity when it comes to lines and finishes. I don’t do them often enough. Perhaps it’s time for another 🤔
Some guy smoking a pipe on a beach in Alaska…
Time to finish the mouthpiece!
This grey ebonite has a warm olive town to it that I think is quite nice!
