ZACK MARCUM RACES TO EMOTIONAL $11,000 WIN!

The final day of the last GallStar Bracket Races event of the 2024 season was certainly one to remember! The Advantage RV's CASH HARVEST powered by GO Lithium saw 280 entries battle through the heat towards a $11,000 pay check.

Zack Marcum raced with his late father Kyle for the last time at Cash Harvest a year ago, and made his return to the racetrack for the very first time this weekend. Zack raced in tribute to his father, driving Kyle's dragster all weekend. Zack laid down his first-ever perfect lap during round one of eliminations, picking up a $500 bonus from .

"This is amazing.. I've already won at this point." said Zack after going trips dead-zero. "That one was for Dad."

Zack wasn't done yet. He raced through a field of the toughest racers in the midwest to match up with red-hot no-box hitter Brandon Schmall in the final round. Brandon remained doubled all day and had to race himself in the no-box final just two rounds earlier. Zack used a .013 reaction to grab a starting line advantage, and that's what it took to turn on the win light. Both drivers broke-out by .008 at the finish line.

Zack pulled the chute on his way back up the track towards an emotional winner circle celebration.

"I can't talk.." said Zack.

Friends and fellow racers hoisted Zack on their shoulders during photos as he wore his McKinney and Son Bracket Racing ALLSTAR PERFORMER Title Belt for his unforgettable performance.

COLE CASTEEL PICKS UP $11,000 PAY DAY AT !

After 282 entries battled through a hot day of racing at Cedar Falls Motorsports Park, Cole Casteel was crowned the $11,000 champion, defeating Steve Elzy in the final round.

Cole came through the no-box side of the field, picking up the Kaybee Transport Solutions $750 No-Box Bonus along the way. After defeating Butch Belair in the no-box final round, Cole moved on to race with the delay-box entries. At the end of the night, Cole staged up against Steve Elzy's nostalgic front-engine dragster, which had been deadly all day long. After Cole left the starting line .014 green, Steve launched the dragster on a red-light, handing the $11,000 win over to Cole.

Cole was surrounded with a huge celebration in the winner circle, and will take one more shot at $11,000 on Sunday before returning to his North Dakota home over 10 hours away from Cedar Falls!

BO SANDERS WINS $10K AT RICK LIVINGSTON SR MEMORIAL!

Bo Sanders picked up the first big check of the weekend at the Advantage RV's CASH HARVEST powered by GO Lithium! The Rick Livingston Memorial Drag Race featured a bottom-heavy payout for 64 entries Friday at Cedar Falls Motorsports Park. After a hot afternoon of racing, Bo Sanders and Jimmy Higgins staged up in the $10K-to-Win final round.

Jimmy picked up a slight reaction time advantage at the hit, .004 to Bo's .011 bulb. At the finish line stripe, Jimmy took .019 to break it out by .004. Bo followed up his .011 reaction with a dead-on eight, posting a .019 package for the win.

Friday morning the ladies at Registration will be ready to see you starting at 8am! Tech lane opens at 10am, and we plan to be on the track with TNT starting at 2pm. One and only time hit for the Rick Livingston Sr Memorial Drag Race is set for 4pm, with eliminations to follow!

Saturday morning registration will be ready at 7am, and we have our one-and-only time hit for the Sat/Sun program scheduled for 8am. $11,000-to-win eliminations to follow!

Remember Sunday we are right into eliminations (no time hits) so we can get everyone on the road home at a decent hour!
