Opening night of our KS3 Production of 'Oliver Jr!' 🙌✨️🍎

Our largest ever KS3 Cast with 70 students from Year 7 -9 perfomed in front of a packed house and did themselves proud! 👏

What a great way to end a packed couple of weeks 🫶👏

WE MADE A MUSICAL IN 24 HOURS 🙌👏🤝

Unbelievably proud of these guys who continue to reach new levels every single time they step on stage 🫶

Incredible performers, but more importantly, incredible humans ♥️

Never underestimate what can be achieved in 24 hours ⏳️

One Musical, Fifty Five Students, Twenty Four Hours 🤝

Getting ready for a busy week....🤝🚦

✅️ MONDAY:

Houses will be putting their creativity and performance to the test as they compete for the InterHouse Drama Trophy! 🏆

Four KS3 students are competing in the ESU National Shakespeare Performance Competition 👏

✅️ WEDNESDAY:

Our 'Student Showcase' takes place on Wednesday evening. A production directed by two of our A Level Drama Students involving students from across KS3 - KS5. 🏹

✅️ FRIDAY:

Rehearsals for the begin as this year's show is revealed to the cast on Friday morning....students will be rehearsing until 8pm that evening! ⏳️🕐

✅️ SATURDAY:

Rehearsals continue for the as students prepare to perform to a packed house at 7pm that evening in a bid to raise money for Charity ♥️

THE 24 HOUR MUSICAL IS BACK!!! 🙌🙏

On Saturday 16th March at 7pm, 50 students will be performing a Musical with under 24 hours rehearsal time...!.

The students have no idea what production they will be performing until 9am on Friday 15th March, where they will start to learn lines, songs and staging for the mystery musical in a bid to raise money for Charity!

Once the performance begins, the students will have to rely on their memory and (some) improvisation, but most of all on each other! 🤝

A really special show in so many ways. It is always a privilege to work with these students who continue to push themselves to the absolute limit to make these productions what they are 💘

I cannot thank these guys enough for the trust they put in myself and the process along the way. It takes a team to put these things together, and what a team they are!

It takes a hell of a lot to get on stage and do what these guys do, and it takes even more to do it as well as they do!

Over the Autumn term, some of our KS4 Drama students have been working with our Acting Coach, Ms Ahmed on a piece based upon true stories from residents at the local Care Home 🏡

They performed the piece to the residents on Saturday morning alongside some Christmas Hymns.

Fantastic work from all involved, giving back and supporting our community 👏
