Classic, Cozy Knit Hats for Babies & Adults - Hats, Patterns, & Commissions. Facemasks also available.
The Zephyr Wrap pattern is up on the blog. This freebie is a good use of a mini skein set plus a main color. It's oversized but lightweight, my favorite combo.
The Dockside Hat went live yesterday and now I'm sharing the version I knit in lovely alpaca from ! I can't get over how gorgeous and soft this yarn is 😍
The Dockside Hat is live on Ravelry! I love simple ribbed stitch patterns and the stitches pop in this pattern 🧡

Why do knitters, crocheters, and fans of all things wool go to sheep and wool festivals? If you’ve never been to a sheep and wool festival (or similar fiber arts festival), you may wonder what the attraction is and why so many crafters love these events. As a voracious knitter, I love attending these events and always get so much out of them!...

I finished but hadn't shared my DRK everyday sweater! I love this knit so much. The yarn is Miss Babs Yowza. I had three skeins but could have gotten away with two. 🧡🧡
Oof, my first broken chia goo! I love these needles and its easy to replace but had such a "noooooo" moment because I just want to finish my new sweater 😅😅
This new version of the Beacon Hat continues the New Year's free pattern tradition!...
Beacon Hat – Worsted: Free Hat Pattern This new version of the Beacon Hat continues the New Year’s free pattern tradition!
I am absolutely in love with this finished wrap. Knit with yarn cafe creations Gothic mini set and a giant cake of the moss green, this is so soft, drapey and gorgeous. I am obsessed.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Whether it's craft or food, I hope there is making in your day.
I've been turning all my worsted weight scrap yarn into blankets this summer. The top blanket is about 60x60 and the bottom is about 72x72.
This may have been a big project for summer but given that it was 50 degrees here the last two nights, I'm glad to have had these extra blankets around the house

More wool socks... because it'll get cold eventually.
A little in love with these Yarn Cafe Gothic Mini colors 🧡🧡🧡 I'm using them in a kind of rainbow order and each color is prettier than the last
I cast on a project using these yarns from 2022's wool and folk festival. The yarn is so incredibly gorgeous and soft. I've gone back and forth with what to make and I can't wait to share my project 🧡🧡🧡

More socks as I get ready for fall! Some of my older socks are well past their lifespan so I'm working on new socks for my collection.
I hope you have time to make something this weekend 🧡🧡🧡
These socks make me so happy (and they aren't even for me!). I finished these up and given them to ... after all, it will be fall soon 🧡🧡🧡
Another pick from my Maine adventures --- sock knitting from the top of Mt Battie in Camden. Such incredible views.
Knitting in Maine a couple weeks ago ❤️❤️it was absolutely gorgeous.
Another day another sock ❤️❤️
Hoping to get a good amount of time to make today. And hoping you have to make something today too.
Continuing my fall theme, I really love this Halloween print. And the base of the bag is corduroy which just feels like a fall fabric.
....too early... ?
Lol. I'm getting ready for fall shop updates and love these foxes!
Me at Michaels last weekend: wow, I can't believe they're putting out fall stuff already!
Me two hours later: man I love this fall leaves fabric.
So I guess I am the target market!!!
And one more blocked hat!! The humidity is so high that I didn't think this would be dry yet, but I'm so excited that this hat is dry and ready for October. Maybe November.
Happy summer knitting, friends.
Life may not always be full of unicorns and rainbows, but my etsy shop update has unicorns, rainbows, moons and some other new goodies for summer crafting. I'm really exciting about the prints and may have to keep on of the phases of the moon bags for myself ❤️❤️
Link to the shop is in the bio.
I finished and blocked another hat! I had to wait a little bit to get a picture because it has been a combination of rainy, cloudy, and foggy in Rhode Island lately.
This is the Rocky Point hat, a fairly straightforward ribbed hat named for a state park in Warwick, RI. The pattern is available on Ravelry.
I'm still working on my giant, scrappy blanket project but managed to finally finish this soft gray cabled hat. This is a worsted version of the Anchored hat (I'll probably post mods on the blog).
I love love love how this came out. It was also a really easy, relaxing pattern.
An absolute tangle of colors on a gray, damp summer day. I knit year round and this is a scrappy blanket that will end up at approx 66" x 66" so while not seasonally appropriate today, I think of this as prepping for fall.
Socks are really good car knitting. Small, portable, and take a good amount of time to knit. Socks are my go to travel knit.
Knitting with Teddy in the background. I love zauberballs and the colors in this yarn are particularly gorgeous.
