We are excited to have the Medina Valley ISD High School Jazz Band scheduled for our February 2 Fiorella Friday. Come down for the evening and support these talented students as they perform. We will also have student artwork on display. Come down for all of the activities at this great event.

One of our great local events is the Casino Night Fundraiser for the Castro Colonies Heritage Foundation. This is a great fundraiser for a great cause and a funny evening.

We are excited about the upcoming Elsass Film Festival to be held in historic downtown Castroville at the Rainbow Theater. We are celebrating area film makers with prizes and awards.

Smoothie King pours out its first drinks west of San Antonio soon Castroville is getting ready for expansive growth heading to the area. Smoothie King will add its first location in 2024.

We hope you enjoyed the annular eclipse on October 14, but you haven't seen anything yet. The April 8, 2024 Total Eclipse will be passing over Castroville and the eclipse totality will begin 1:31pm. This amazing view will last for approximately 2:25 minutes.
