Wrens are not the easiest birds to snap as they are so small, normally blend into their background and usually in the scrub but I did manage to pick this one out! 5 May 2023
A Cormorant giving me a cautious look before clearing off. Taken on the banks of the River Thames in Radcot, Oxfordshire 24 March 2023
Another couple from the break in Wales. Both pics have been captioned
Having just spent a couple of magical days in some woods in Wales away from everything but nature, I have managed to capture some of our flying friends. I'll kick of this this shot of (I think) a Spotted Flycatcher.
Nice to grab this shot of a male (I think) Yellowhammer today😀
Amazing haw frost in Penrith this afternoon. I don't ever recall seeing it as good as this
Another trip away when my bag is too full for the SLR! I need to address this issue! This is the Clachnaharry sea lock in Inverness last night. It produced a stunning sunset which got a lot better than this later on
Beautiful reflections on offer in the River Derwent in Duffield tonight. Water was lovely too!
These are not the easiest birds to get a picture of but this Skylark stayed still long enough to be snapped!

Only a phone pic unfortunately but a nice one all the same. I was a little 'under the influence' to operate the SLR! A beautiful sunset near Corfe Castle last night and this morning we wake at the campsite to a glorious morning. Me thinks it's time to get up and head out to look for more reptiles.
Good morning! The atmospherics on offer this morning were too good to ignore so I popped over to Rough Wood before work. The mist wasn't as good as at home but it did offer some opportunities like this one. Have a good Friday all!
