2024 na ba? LUTANG MOMENT!

I've made it this far without stepping on anyone. Or if I did, but I’m not aware of, I apologize. I don't know what's been happening, and please don't tell me either. It's okay. We've moved past that without any fights or sagutan. Anyway, sorry.

As far as I know, I'm fixing my business the right way. I've improved it to make everything okay for everybody. I've given everything – information, strategies, techniques, tips, shortcuts in things. I always tell them what to do, be smarter than just working hard. But it's not followed because they have their own styles.

In the end, they fail, and it comes back to me. I impose my own way again. Only then do they realize, oh yes, it works pala...

You want to get mad, but you can't because you don't want to disappoint them or hurt their pride.

You want to boast that I told you so, right? But you didn't listen.
But I don't want to say it now because why bother? It's already there.

DEPRESSION.

Most of the time, if not always, I find myself awake in the middle of the night. I miss having someone to talk to, someone you can invite for coffee anytime. But when I turn my back on those who are with me, they're all sleeping – my kids.

If I wake them up and talk to them about what's on my mind, will they listen? Yes, they will – but will they understand?
Sometimes, I see myself driving to Maple Groove just to have coffee, not dining in, just inside the car. Watching the youth having fun, laughing. They're so happy. But in my mind, where are their parents?

Whew! Am I too strict with my kids? Why don't they go out? Tula ng mga batang to.
Why, until now, no boyfriends? Baka akala ko lang nadala ko sila ng maayos, but they feel restricted. Should I let them go?

Di ko namalayan the coffee is cold, and I haven't even taken a sip.
And, oh no, I'm alone, it's 2 AM. But I don't want to go home yet. I want to think. I want someone to talk to.
Who should I chat with again? Checking my phone's list, messaging them one by one. No one replies.

Fool, it's already 2 AM.

Someone replied, but what should I say? Do I have a problem? I don't know. Never mind. I don't want to talk anymore.
And I found myself driving through Cavitex, alone.

Now I'm here at Baclaran. There are no people yet, but it’s always open.
I'll go in later. I remembered it's Christmas three weeks ago. Daming Lights. Ang ganda ng simbahan.

1:9 Christmas Novena Fact ( My Journey)

A BEAUTIFUL SHIFT OCCURED —on 1st day of this year's novena.

My children were the ones who woke me up for the Holy Mass.

Last night, I had attended a year-end planning party with my colleagues in Cavite, arriving home at 1 am and needing to be at Mass by 3 am.

DURING THE MASS, as I sat there, leaning on their shoulders, I realized the impact of the journey we had undertaken together 18 years ago.

My children had embraced the teachings of the holy Catholic Church, not just as a family tradition nor obligation but as individuals who understood the importance of faith, the Pascal Mystery.
