If you ever have the pleasure of making it to at - you will NOT be disappointed. Andy and Jeff are a force to be reckoned with. Their extensive knowledge of bourbon (well, spirits in general!) and the art of the cocktail far surpasses the usual “bourbon bar” in and arguably any major city. No detail is spared down to making the perfect ice for every drink, every time, to ensure a consistent cocktail profile and a drink that will leave you staying in your seat and digging in your wallet for more. We went in for one drink and enjoyed 3 (one of which Andy created based off of a list of random ingredients the Mrs. threw at him!) and it was the perfect ending to a perfect trip. We already are counting down the days until our next trip to in which our first stop (and many more to follow) will be the . Get yourself a responsible driver, prepare to pay a good $12-15 per drink (well worth it), and sit and relax at the bar. These guys are phenomenal and will blow your mind. Hands down one of the best bar experiences ever, thanks guys!

Here are a few highlights from our trip. We had an amazing time and even had some private tours on the trip!

Wonderful first day in Bardstown. We went (back) to Jim Beam and did a tasting at LuxRow. Tonight we will visit the oldest bourbon bar in the world!

We are excited to bust open this barrel as we head to Bardstown this weekend for an entire week! We will post photos of our adventures! We have the following distilleries on our itinerary: lux row, Bardstown, 1792, Jefferson’s, Wild Turkey, four roses, buffalo trace, woodford Reserve, maker’s Mark, limestone branch, Jim beam, willet, town branch, heaven hill, Michter’s, Angel’s Envy, old forester, and new riff. We will be very busy, and have plenty more to be thankful for next week ;)
