This is Pearl, who I met this afternoon while giving some tomatoes to my neighbors. Pearl used to be a private chef. This afternoon she sent me a message on Nextdoor saying she wanted to make a bunch of pasta sauce for low income families at a school in our area. So I gave her 40-50 pounds of our heirloom tomatoes to do exactly that.

Stuff like this is exactly why I started this business and I’m extremely grateful to people like Pearl who are using their expertise to help others. Local food for local families.

Hey everybody, we’ve been off social media a but lately and wanted to give a quick update. We’re in the process of building the next urban farm over in Lakewood! We’ve been tearing through the forest of weeds that inhabited the place and now we’re getting ready to start building garden beds. After that we’ll build out the drip system and then do some planting! This past weekend we were at and we introduced some new baked goods brought in by !

5 varieties of tomatoes, honey cucumbers, 6 varieties of peppers, purple basil, leeks, green onions, arugula, spinach, kale, three different types of radishes, marigolds, endives, all in the ground! Very stoked for this summer, we’re gonna be eating!

Happy Tuesday! This weeks menu has been updated and we’ve added a couple new options:

1. Fresh arugula
2. A subscription option for microgreens!

This week we’re also starting our first shift at Boulters Farmers Market at University Hills! We’re very stoked to bring our greens and plants to market!

We’re just a couple weeks away from being open for orders and we can’t wait! Here’s a couple radish trays we harvested yesterday.

Be on the lockout for our rare house plant collection drop too! We’re gonna have some beautiful philodendrons available for purchase here in a couple weeks. Looking forward to seeing everyone (in a safe and socially distanced manner!)
