Katie's Fund for Kids seeks to provide school teachers and nurses with supplies needed for their classrooms and offices.
Upon their recommendation, we also provide needed items children and their families on an individual basis. Katie's Fund for Kids was founded in memory of first grade teacher, Kate Harrigan who passed away from breast cancer. Katie's Fund for Kids provides school supplies, clothing and other essentials to students in need in addition to aiding teachers and school nurses with stocking their classro

Hello Everyone:
Finally good to be back after some big changes for me.
I want to update everyone on the Christmas Fundraiser!
It was a great success- we raised $5000.00!!!!
Thanks to all of you, it was just in time to help 4 families in our schools celebrate a wonderful Christmas!
We have since provided many more items to local schools and I am happy to say that teachers getting familiar with us are reaching out to me- which is the objective.
I have lots of photos to post- Coming on Tues- to show where everything goes and the happiness it spreads.
In the meantime. Happy Easter and see you next week.

Katie's Fund for Kids kicks off the holiday season with a fabulous comedy show with Funny4Funds. Local comedians will provide a light hearted evening of fun and prizes to raise money for usMore info will follow.
Right now, I am in need of 6 people to volunteer to help with getting donations for baskets and the silent auction and to help with ticket sales and check out that night. I know people are busy but I don't think it's a huge time commitment. Just need to participate in a zoom meeting with Funny4Funds, and contact any businesses you deal with for items for raffles or sponsorship. We are trying to grow and need your help. And it can be fun! Message me if you are interested.
If you can't help that evening but would still like to donate something or sponsor, let me know. It's greatly appreciated.
I just posted the date for the annual fundraiser. I have decided that December conflicts with too many Christmas parties and everyone is rushed. So we will kick off the holiday season with Funny 4 Funds- a comedy show that lasts about 90 minutes. Then the actors will conduct our raffles. It's bring your own snacks, there will be a cash bar and the Elks home has a kitchen if any one wants to purchase lite fare.
I am definitely looking for sponsors and volunteers to help with getting donations and set up and clean up.

I cannot thank all of you enough! I had a $500 goal for this raffle and with your great generosity, we raised $850!!!! This will continue to help so many children that have simple, basic needs.

It's almost time for the raffle! Ticket sales end Saturday at 1pm and the computer draws the winner at 1:30. We will contact you right away and get the basket to you in time to gift it to mom! Thanks to your support we have provided much needed clothing, coats, underwear, socks, pencils, storage containers, markers, supplies for nurses' office and classrooms, as well as cash donations to help students attend school activities. There is a much greater need than I could ever express. So thank you!
i Everyone!!! Katie's Fund for Kids is holding an online raffle for Mother's Day! We have a beautiful Day at the Beach for Mom basket that will be on display at the Bean Barn in Coventry from Monday thru Saturday. The drawing will be at noon on Saturday- the computer will pick the winner. Because it's online, tickets are sold in minimums of 10. 10 tix for $10. 25 tix for $20 and 50 Tix for $30.
I will deliver the basket to the winner on Saturday afternoon.
Included is a huge flamingo beach bag, Smirnoff Ice, White Zinfandel, beach towel, sunhat, sunscreen, and much more. Over $200 value.

As the school year comes to a close, I want to let you know what a difference your contributions have made to many schools and students. We have supplied coats, masks, sweatpants, sweatshirts, underwear, socks, storage bins, sanitizers and school supplies to schools in Warwick, West Warwick and Coventry. We have also supplied clothing to children whose family lost everything in a fire in West Warwick. Thank you so much for support! We are still small, but now that the pandemic is behind us, we hope to grow with your help. SOOOOOO SAVE THE DATE!!!! Friday- Dec 9,2002 at 6:30.
