I love working on pieces where my client and I bounce off each other’s requests and ideas, making it a truly personal artwork. In this project, we incorporated the four elements as well as each family member’s zodiac sign✨

Title: “Family Harmony”

“Family Harmony” is a watercolor collage featuring twenty-five vibrant koi fishes and delicate lotus flowers. Among the koi, five uniquely represent individual family members, each distinguished by distinct colors and patterns, symbolizing their unique identities within the family. The remaining koi swim together, creating a harmonious and dynamic scene. The lotus flower, a timeless symbol of purity and growth, highlighting the beauty and resilience of familial bonds. Personalized for the client, this piece is meant to capture the essence of love, togetherness, and the serene elegance of nature, beautifully intertwining the individual identities within a cohesive, flourishing family unit✨

“Tulip Tango”- 2023, is a contemporary art piece that is meant to capture the spirit of the 90s and early 2000s through its vibrant colors and playful composition. The artwork features an abstract vase with bloomed tulips, rendered in a mix of bold and bright colors including grey, blue, hot pink, yellow, and red.

The tulips are depicted in an unconventional and abstracted way, with exaggerated shapes and bold brushstrokes that give them a sense of dynamic movement. The use of hot pink and yellow hues in the artwork adds a touch of neon and pop art aesthetic, reminiscent of the vibrant and energetic vibe of the 90s and early 2000s.

The grey, black and blue tones I hope will provide a contemporary and cool contrast, creating a sense of depth and dimension in the artwork. I wanted the composition to be balanced yet dynamic, with a sense of rhythm and flow that evokes the spirit of dancing and movement, reminiscent of the "tango" in the artwork's title.

Overall, "Tulip Tango: Abstracted Petals in Technicolor" is a quirky and vibrant art piece that captures the essence of my experience as a Swedish teenager in the 90s and early 2000s, blending abstract and pop art elements with a playful and energetic vibe 🖤

Embracing Nostalgia “Through the Fog on a Summer Night"

This acrylic on canvas artwork captures the playful vibes of teenage years in Sweden. The football and paper airplane, symbolic of carefree fun, dance through the fog on a summer night. The sailboat with a scull represents the nights of revelry and joy, where letting loose and experiencing life to the fullest was the norm. The white wild flowers adorning the sail are a reminder of the evening's beginning, as they guard the memories made. The sun in the backdrop signifies the unique phenomenon of the brief summer nights in Sweden, where the sun only sets for a few hours. Let this artwork transport you to the magical summer nights of youth, filled with laughter, adventure, and unforgettable moments

“Stormy seas” 2021. I was intrigued by the muted and subdued colors of stormy seas, and I aimed to capture that sense of dampness and mist in my watercolor painting. I used soft and muted brushstrokes in colors such as grays, purple, blues, and greens to combine the crashing waves and swirling currents.
I decided to use damp colors to create a sense of tranquility amidst the turmoil of nature's elements
