I have actually been painting recently. Several of my works are going up for sale/auction to raise funds for Veterinarian care and more this week on one of my group pages, Taos Community Animal Friends.
Other images of what I'll be doing I'll be putting up this week too. I've been doing some murals at Casa Benavides Inn and little details there. So much going on. But I'm ready to start posting here now regularly!

Fun Story. I'm amazed at the odds of things like this happening.
In 1996 I began a ceramic business called Painted Whims in WA state. Lived in Kirkland and sold the painted items through a gift gallery co-op there and at various art shows for the next few years. Then when we got our own store no time to paint! But I'd sold quite a bit.
Recently my daughter, April, began thrifting finding items that are Retro, Granny Chic and so on and reselling them. They live in WA still. Hitting thrift stores and garage sales where they see them. Well, son in love Ari, was driving around, saw a garage sale, stopped and saw a few glass and ceramic items (you know where this is now going) He videod it so April could see what was there. He scanned the shelf. She saw something she recognized. A pattern I had done. She told Ari to look at the bottom and there were my initials and Painted Whims. April quickly explained to Ari that I had painted it and to buy it. Ari told the sellers the story. They still charged him 4 bucks. LOL! (Ya see I'm a sucker if someone told me that story I'd give it to them!) Anywhooooooo......So now my family has something again with this pattern that I painted. I had not kept any of this pattern for some reason....What goes around...I love it.

Hi Friends! I'm working on my page bit by bit (in between painting) Most of these are works going back to 2013 and I still have a lot of images to load up. I like having the images in one spot so I am reminded of things done and that I want to do.
The bright, colorful, whimsical paintings I could do fairly quickly and they were the primary style I sold when selling across the county and in my local area.
I do many other styles too and you will see those coming up!
This is a little painting I did for a customer for a gift for an elementary school teacher!
