Would you believe this bride dried these flowers herself?! I happened to be unavailable on her date, so I sent her instructions for how to dry her own flowers in silica. They turned out amazing! Look at all those anemones- those are tricky.

Cassi’s 9” Hexagon with all the moody, saturated colors!! We opted for adding Personalization to this block (peep the black cursive “Q” in the corner)
I decided to do color tinting on *all* the flowers since they changed color so dramatically during the drying process. It really brought out the vibrancy of the original bouquet!

ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT SHADOW BOXES:

After over a year of deliberating, I have decided to discontinue my shadow boxes.

They are my least popular option so we don’t see them too often around here. But the real reason they are being discontinued is…

✨I don’t like making them.✨

There, I said it.

Being an artist requires a lot of creative motivation. Shadow Boxes really “put me in a box” (pun intended) in terms of layout and design, limited space, limited options of flowers that are eligible, and other logistical challenges (if you know, you know.)

I fortunately get to choose where I focus my creative energy, and I choose the projects that make me excited and challenged! So moving forward, Shadow Boxes are no longer an option on my site, and I will be focusing my time and efforts towards Resin work and Pressed Frame work.

IF YOU CURRENTLY ARE BOOKED FOR A SHADOW BOX:
Don’t worry, I still got you. We have 2 options:
1. Continue with your shadow box as planned, I will honor it.
2. Switch your order to a Resin piece of equal value, and I will gift you a $50 difference towards any upgrade. Yep, that’s right, I will PAY you to switch your order to a resin piece.
I will reach out personally to my shadow box brides to see what you’d like to do on a case-by-case basis.

I never got around to sharing this 18x24 pressed frame for Ashley! This bouquet was MASSIVE and had so much texture and variety. Stuffed with red roses, protea, mums + chrysanthemums, thistle, and yellow orchids - all tricky flowers that required a lot of TLC but was so worth it!
