Annual Brenning Bash Wiffle Ball Tournament

Saturday, September 9th we will be hosting a blind draw mini tournament at Brenway Park!

No team required, just show up, we'll pick 3 person teams at random and play for fun.

This is open to all! We're going to cook some burgers and hot dogs. All we ask is you being a dish to pass.

Turns out the website is going to need some more work than I thought, so I will post the award winners of the tournament and then post all the pictures from the weekend!

Going through photos and just wanted to share the appreciation we have for how much this has grown! We didn't take a big group photo until the 3rd year, but look how much this has grown since Year 3!

Just wanted to say THANK YOU again to everyone for coming out this weekend. It was a great tournament this year with a lot of competitive teams! I will be posting photos and updating the website in the next week or so!

We officially kick-off Wiffleball Weekend tomorrow! We have 3 games on schedule for Friday, with the Homerun Derby immediately following.

First pitch is 6:30pm! 👀

‼️IMPORTANT REMINDERS‼️

⭐️ It is $15 per player this year.
(This pays for your shirt)

⭐️ The entry fee is NOT for a cash prize to the winners

⭐️PLEASE arrive BEFORE your game time.
We need to stay on schedule so we aren't playing until 8pm Saturday. There is a late penalty for teams that aren't ready for their game slot.

⭐️We are doing a 50/50 raffle this year, so if you do want to take home some money, this is your chance!

We're drawing the bracket TONIGHT 👀

We will be starting the tourney FRIDAY NIGHT.
With 12 teams, we need to get a jump start so we can still finish before bed time on Saturday.
We are looking at playing 3-4 games Friday, immediately followed by our Home Run Derby under the lights! (If 💡 is needed)

We plan to draw the bracket this weekend to give people plenty of time to be prepared to make plans for when they need to be there.

🆕 Starting this year there will be some new additions to the tourney! 🆕

1️⃣ There will be a $15 entry fee PER PLAYER.
(The vote was literally 50/50, so we thought we would meet y'all in the middle)

2️⃣ There will be TWO new awards this tournament: First will be the "Best Uniforms!"
Players and fans will vote on their favorite ones. Secondly, we will be doing an All-Tournament Team. One player from each team will be selected for the achievement during the tournament. 🏆🏆

3️⃣We will be introducing the Hall of Fame! This is a chance to honor players who have excelled in past tournaments, as well as people who have contributed to the tournament off the field. 🏅🏅

4️⃣We're working on getting you all some SWAG (Stuff We All Get). We want to say thank you to all of you for making this tournament so much fun for all these years! This is where a portion of your entry fee will go towards.

5️⃣We're doing a 50/50 raffle this year! 🎟️
So bring your cash! 💵 You'll get a chance to go home with some money, even if your team didn't win any games!

With the expansion to 12 teams this year, we are considering starting the tournament Friday night. Likely just a few games, but this way we are not playing until 8pm Saturday night.
