You cannot go back, and maybe tomorrow never comes, maybe all you'll ever have is this. Are you happy with that? Have you ever taken the time to consider what it is to truly be in a moment, alone or with another? Why do we wait until after, before we start to appreciate what we had? Our memories weren't always memories, at one point in time you were there. Tomorrow, this too will be a memory. We were never meant to live our lives inside our heads, constantly reflecting on what was, or imagining what could be. Where are you, right now? Actually be there, feel it. Who are you there with, and why are you there with them? What does it feel like? What can you hear and see? Tomorrow you may remember this moment and realize that you'll never be there again, you'll never be right here again. People spend their whole lives chasing something, thinking that if they get it then maybe they'll be satisfied, then their life can begin, maybe they'll have money, a lover, a family, a degree perhaps. But maybe you never do get that, maybe you fail, or get lost along the way, or maybe it isn't everything you thought it would be..

So what do you have right now? Look around you again, at your life. You have people who love you, maybe you have a house, maybe you have a dog or cat who waits for you all day to get home because you are their world. Maybe you have someone to hold at night, and maybe you have friends who can't wait to hear about your day. You will not always have those things.

Maybe your life isn't exactly what you want it to be, maybe it is. Maybe you never achieve your goals, and maybe you fall in love. You cannot go back, and maybe tomorrow never comes.

Sometimes life feels like it's building up to something, some great moment of true and unfaltering happiness. A life altering experience where from then on every day is just a good as the last. "You" is meant to capture the reality of how those moments are simply just that, a moment. The festivals, birthdays, grand gestures, and the times when two souls cross paths for just a fraction of the time that you wish they had, leaving a mark longer lasting than any other.

That is what "You" are, is, can and always will be.
