These last few months have felt like a whirlwind of emotions.

Every decision I make seems to be the wrong one.

I try,

& I get back up again.

When I’m back on my feet,

I realize that any decision I make is the right one as long as I’m choosing a path.

Which has led me here.

This is my platform and I am proud to share my story!

I miss my grandpa.

The pain I feel knowing he is no longer here for me to run home to feels like i can never go home again. He was a shelter and a safe-haven for me. I miss him covering me up with more blankets as i slept because he wanted to keep me warm. I miss his laugh when he would make those dad jokes that never made any sense yet he could still make anyone smile. I miss how good he was with kids. I miss how he was my biggest cheerleader and most importantly, i miss my hero. Now every time i see a red truck i know he is with me. When I go to the grocery store and buy bananas i remember peeling them for him in the passenger seat while he said “Wow, are you appealing”. Those memories will be with me forever, but I’m still grieving, and i think i will for a long time because my grandpa was my reason for life - now i gotta make my own. Because i know he would want me to & it’s my only option. Create a life for myself or don’t. I will move forward, but i will always remember him as my GRAND-Father.

“Keep creating” is a motto I live by, as it does set my souls on fire toward my most authentic self.

To be honest, my podcast has become my home, but there are a few other priorities I have to take care of before getting back on the wagon.

When the show returns we will have new and improved branding, a new studio set up, and the most intriguing guests yet.

Cozy mood on this Saturday ☺️

Vulnerably, my bed has been my favorite place this week. We have been taking some time to be cuddled up under the blankets just trying to recharge & balance. Sometimes it makes me feel guilty that I am not doing more. Then, I realize that it’s ok to be light on myself. Taking my days at my own pace is the only way to go no matter how much pressure is thrown my way.

“It’s okay! It’s going to be ok!” I repeat to myself on my lowest days. We all have them. It feels good to be comfortable. It feels good to have a safe space. Stay focused & grounded, the rest will follow. Find your happy place - go there often.

This week i had the pleasure to sit down with one of my first college friends to discuss his year thrifting & reselling on Depop. As Logan mentions in the episode, If Instagram & Ebay had a baby, it would be Depop.
Equally important, i find Logan’s passion for fashion shining through in each aspect of his reselling narrative. It is not often that we find someone who can make an extra income off of just pushing forward on activities that we enjoy.

Ladies & Gentlemen...a round of apple-ause!! 🍎

When asked to do a mini photo shoot, I first was stumped with what to do. On a cold, winter day it can be a challenge to find an interesting outfit that is bearable to stand outdoors in. In the blink of an eye, I put on my coat, that I call my Ariana Grande - NASA piece straight from the Goodwill. I love this coat, but there was still an element missing. It may have been that this shoot was done at 4 pm, and i still hadn’t eaten a decent meal that day, or maybe it was just a spark within me that was drawn to bring this apple into the street. Either way, having limited number of props & sets may seem like a restriction to photography, but it is possible to capture an image with almost any object around the house.

Our creativity has no limits ✨
