From Edie Brewer-Plyer:

Anderson Campmeeting-pic -Clyde Schauer at pop-corn stand

DO YOU REMEMBER ... this wonderful pop-corn??

This is our uncle, Clyde Schauer. He was working the stand for Everett May, who for many years raised the pop-corn in Springfield, OH, and brought family, etc to run the stand.

-Everett May was the husband of Trudy (Linhart) May.

-Trudy was the sister of Jim Linhart and of Jean Tanner.

-Jim was the husband of Gladys (Schauer) Linhart.

-Gladys was a sister to Clyde Schauer. They were 6 other siblings, including Homer Schauer.

-Jim and Gladys were the parents of Beverley Bentley.

-Beverley was the wife of Dale Bentley.

-Dale is a brother to Marion Jones, David Bentley, Edna Fox, and Cathy Moe! Their parents were: Rev Jay and Lena Bentley. Rev Jay Bentley pastored in Erie PA for many years, which is where the SCHAUERS lived.

-Later he pastored in Ashtabula OH. The oldest SCHAUER sibling was Vesta (Schauer) Boyer, who married Boyd Boyer. Parents of: Luanna Hale, Beulah Waller, Edie Brewer-Plyer, Boyce/Ed, and Carl. They moved from Erie to Ashtabula to start the church there.

Campmeeting time was a wonderful time of meeting other folks. Many marriages had their beginnings from meeting other Christians from all the different congregations at campmeeting.

The BOYER family ..Boyd was one of Jeremiah and Rachel Boyers's 11 children from Franklin, PA. That's a whole ‘nother story!!!
