While out and about the other day, I came across this building. It captivated me.

Different yet the same

Over the past few months Iโ€™ve been in and out of a rut. A feeling of discouragement. A feeling of unsupportiveness (

When taking photos of buildings, I donโ€™t like taking photos at a distance to get the whole tower vertical and as straight as possible.
With my photography, I love going against the grain and taking photos from different perspectives. I love taking photos of towers looking upwards. It gives you a feel for how mighty buildings are. It makes me appreciate how these giant structures all sit on a single foundation and seem to rise into the sky.

This is one of those types of photos I took this weekend in Chicago of the Willis Tower.
