And so the Mexico journey is coming to and end for this time! I hope that you've enjoyed coming along with me π²π½ New adventures are ahead of us! Can you guess the next destination?
Hidden jungle cenote in the heart of buzzy Tulum beach strip π΄
Tulum is not all party, especially if you visit this hidden jungle cenote which is located on the opposite side of the beach hotels and clubs (literally only a 10 minute walk from Nomade).
If you don't know what you're searching for you would never find this place as the entrance is hidden and literally doesn't even have a sign.
The cenote is actually located in an eco-hotel, with cute tents to sleep in. It's definitely something different to the "usual" Tulum experience and well worth a visit during your stay.
If you'd like to go here the place is called - would you ever stay in a place like this? π
Inside Pablo Escobars past home in Tulum, Mexico π³
Did you know that they have remodel one of Pablo Escobar's Mexican vacation homes into a hotel and restaurant?
It's located in Tulum beach and you can either book a room, get a daypass at the beach or book a dinner experience.
I definitely recommend going even though it's a bit overpriced. It was such a creepy and unique experience, specially for those who have watched Narcos!
The place is called and you need to call in advance if you want to make a visit π²π½
Did you even go to Tulum if you didn't get a picture outside this sculpture? ππ΄
Fun fact, this sculpture by used to be located facing the street in Tulum, and there used to be a dangerous line (which could sometimes be up to 1 hour long). However, they have now moved the entire sculpture. You can still find it close to but it's now in a safer spot. The only downside is that they now charge you a fee to take pictures in front of it π
Perhaps worth it since the line won't be as long? What do you think?
Some of the best food I had in Mexico (local and non local) π€€π
1) Chilaquiles, my second favorite Mexican food after pozole. This is a HEAVY dish but the Mexicans eat it for breakfast. It's fried tortilla in sauce often topped with chicken. You have to try it at least once during your trip!
2) Coconut shrimp at Fred's Cancun. One of the best starters I've had in my life, and the view from the restaurant overlooking the water is gorgerous. Make sure to go during sunset if you decide to visit.

Follow that dream to... Tulum! π΄π²π½
Next part of the trip is Tulum, one of the most popular destinations for tourists visiting Mexico. What better way to start it with a pic next to the famous "follow that dream" sign located on the strip of zona hotelera.
Holbox photo dump π₯Ίπ΄π
Holbox, you've been absolutely magical but I'm off to a new adventure now. Thank you for this time β‘
Fun fact about π From July to January you can go swimming in water (glow in the dark). If you are visiting during these months you can either get a golf cart or walk to the beach called Las Nubes de Holbox to see these magical creatures.
It's a very cool experience but you can't really catch them on camera so this photo will do π
Walking into 2022 at like π΄ So excited to start sharing my Mexcio content with you! I have so many tips and ideas on things you need to do/ see when traveling here!
Fun fact: I count as being my second home. I've been here more times than I can count on my fingers (of both hands)! π²π½
It's a lovely country with so much to offer. If you have any specific topics you want me to touch on let me know π
My top 3 restaurants to visit in π
1) Mandarina (Located in hotel Casa Tortugas) - perfect brunch spot. It's located on the beach and they serve everything from acai bowls to avocado toasts etc. $$$
2) Roots - Holbox is known for their Lobster pizza (yep, you read that right) and this is the most popular spot to get it. I personally don't rate this special pizza incredibly but it's something you should try during your visit!
3) LUUMA - Really cozy dinner spot with fun drinks and a buzzy atmosphere. Their menu is mixed with a lot of traditional Mexican options.
Perfect beaches in - if you've been looking into traveling to Mexico you've probably seen pictures of happy tourists hanging out in overwater hammocks. If so, it's a big chance you've been looking at pictures from π

Nothing like sunset hour in π« This is at the overlooking the ferries wheel! π‘
I decided to do this for my dad's birthday last year and he thought it was so much fun driving around in this green
One typical activity for people coming to Dubai (if your budget allows) is renting a luxury car for a day.
I decided to do this for my dads birthday last year and he thought it was so much fun driving around in this green - do you know anyone whoβd like to be surprised with this type of activity?
Bluewaters Island from above π became my first home and itβs still one of my favorite areas of the city thanks to the slower vibe and beautiful restaurants and cafes that you can find there.
