For those of you who are following my journey, you know that I am in the process of getting my cosmetology license. Although nails are my passion I’m learning how to do hair, eyelash extensions, and facials. For the most part I’ve been learning mostly about hair until we are back in campus. I’ll admit at first I was a little disappointed; I wanted to learn new techniques and designs for nails not hair! Now I’m loving hair! It’s such a fun challenge! Don’t worry I won’t leave you without your claws.
Anyway, this was my first men’s cut I did. My brother was such a good sport for allowing me to use him as a test subject 🖤 originally in my head his hair color was much lighter so I planned on giving him highlights. I was only going from a “6 to a 7” for a super natural highlight so I used a 20 volume. In all actuality he was more of a 5 to a 7 so the hair didn’t lighten as much as I wanted it to but it gave him a really nice subtle lowlight! Super natural looking.

Hiii Everyone!!! I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted, but I started school on June 1st online! Putting in 7 hours of school work a day, managing a household, and scheduling in some outdoor “me time” I haven’t had a whole lot of “Claws time”. I guess you could say that the luckily the pandemic has really slowed down business. Don’t worry, CLAWS BY LOUDEN IS ACCEPTING CLIENTS! We’re taking greater precautions for your health and ours. We will be taking extra time in between clients/appointments for cleaning and disinfecting; and ask that you come alone, with your mask, to your appointment. Unfortunately we are no longer accepting “walk-ins” and ask that all appointments be made in 24 hours in advance. 2-3 Hours before the start of your appointment you will receive a Wellness Check Call to go over a few things to make sure that we are abiding by the COVID-19 precautions set by our state. When arriving for appointments we ask that you remain in the car. Call us, or shoot us a text, letting us know you’re here; and we will come down to get you.
