The re-balance exhibition in Sea Ranch.

We had so much great feedback from our last exhibition "re BALANCE" held in San Carlos that we decided to run it again in our newest Sea Ranch house. With more space this time, we will have more pieces showing. This time it will be open to the public, everyone can drop by and enjoy the show. Authentic tea and tea desserts from China will be served.

It's so inspiring to see how an artist and a gallerist can inspire each other!

Not sure if you still remember the story Grace made up for the early child center back in May about how a deer Bambi created her gallery by traveling and meeting artist friends.

really loved the story and made an art for Bambi.

Grace was kidding: please make Bambi a pretty dear please :)

And said: I wanted to make her beautiful and light, but she wanted a strong side as well.

And we love the powerful and strong deer!

We celebrate wrinkled linen,
as it is the natural state of the fabric; the elegance of raw fibers;
the roughness in rustic textures.

The beauty of them is that they are not perfect, and we indulge ourselves in emphasizing these imperfections.

In thousands of years passed, women are mostly overlooked, lost, like the void faces under the crowns.

Many women, great or ordinary, worked hard to thrive and blossom, only to be left out of the history written by men and of men. To see her work, is to see people, to see history, to see oneself, and what lies beyond.

The intricate details in Yiya's paintings are done on specially made silk canvases from Hangzhou. The white pigment creates a beautiful backdrop that tells the story of ancient life. These paintings are not only beautiful, but also fun to read.

The exhibition theme “re BALANCE” is to encourage and inspire people to find a new balance after COVID.
