Zinnia’s Wedding Crasher—it took me a year to complete this novel. This title just appeared in my mind during the COVID days. I remember I was staring at my laptop while Jinnatul Raihan Mumu was doing her work at midnight. All of a sudden, an idea popped up of hosting an Indian wedding in the first chapter which will be crashed by the male lead. The journey of writing this book was filled with a lot of emotions. Starting from the comedy, romance, happiness, sadness, and anger—I tried to portray everything. I even listened to songs depending on the mood of the chapter to actually feel the scene. Being an author is not easy. I spent hours outlining each and every chapter, to prevent any plot holes. Before uploading a chapter, Noushin Anjum proofreads it for me. Only after her opinion, I clicked on the ‘publish’ button. Besides, Nazifa made the perfect book cover for this novel and I'm really grateful to her for that. Anyway, what motivates me to continue writing is the love from my readers. Their comments never fail to bring a smile to my face. I even texted Abrar Shakhawat a few days back, that I didn't want this novel to end. But every good thing has to come to an end eventually. So here's to my fourteenth novel being completed. ✨
