7. Regular exercise can help give you energy and strength to get through labor.

While this can be reversed, how about learning to protect the hair on your edges?
These are some practices you can adopt, to help you achieve that:
1. Edges do NOT have to be laid
If you lay your edges every time you do your hair; youโve been doing bad.

2. Do not braid your edges!

pulling and tugging, so when getting braids,

If youโve used any of these products recently, stop using them to see if the swelling subsides.

What to do? Take an OTC pain reliever or apply a cold compress to help the discomfort and swelling.
Tearing can also happen, so make sure you also watch out for any sign of infection like discharge or fever. If that happens call your doctor ASAP.

Swelling with BV is not common (but possible).
Therefore, get in touch with your doctor if you experience symptoms like: itchiness, burning sensation, pain when peeing, a fishy discharge or odor; together with swelling
