Super disappointed that I will not be performing with my band Zombii tonight for our 10 Year Anniversary. I’m on doctors orders to rest and stay healthy for my upcoming Angiogram and Surgery to repair my Dural Arteriovenous Fistual. Big thank you to Zachary Yost for filling in on bass while I’m out, and to Jeremy Zombii and Ray Hilton for their support. number two arrived today from This one is a NS Pulse II. Bolt on roasted maple neck, ebony fretboard, EMG pickups, Tone Pump Jr. preamp, MOP inlay, and a cool satin quilted Ultra Violet finish. 🧈 🔥 🤘🏼

Finally landed a new bass, and this one is pretty freaking cool. USA NS-2 Curly Rosewood Top, Ebony Fretboard, and Pickups from here in CT. I’ve always wanted a real deal Spector. This things is sweet! Just don’t expect me to sound like 😂 ————————————————————

If I ever had the opportunity to custom build a bass, I would take a precision bass body and marry it to a vintage style late 60’s/early 70’s jazz bass neck with a rosewood fretboard, blocks, and binding. To top it off, vintage style tuners with a more modern high mass bridge for sustain and a passive pj pickup setup to combine the best of both worlds. So when I saw this on online, I had to take a ride to check it out, and whoa, it did not disappoint! Big thanks to the fellas at today for all of their help! 2023 Fender Custom Shop 1960 Precision Bass Heavy Relic in the always gorgeous Sherwood Green! Picked up at with the help of and 🤘🏼🏴‍☠️🧟‍♂️

Had some credit left on some GC gift cards, so placed an order for a player series P Bass in Sea Foam Green, one of the newer colors. It arrived today, and after a little setup and swapping out the white pickguard for an anodized gold pickguard it plays surprisingly well! The Pau Ferro fretboard on this one actually has a really nice grain as well, especially after I oiled it a bit. All in all, a really solid bass for the money.

Tour Number 2 for 2023 has come to a close. We had a great weekend. To all the bands we played with and venues who hosted us, thank you for your hospitality and for welcoming us to your hometowns! You were all excellent and I hope we get to play shows together in the future! To the sound guy at DUDE YOU ARE THE BEST! To the sound guy at reppin CT, YOU WERE ALSO AMAZING! We really lucked out with great sound technicians on this tour, so thank you both! To .magik777 and his fiancé, thank you guys for allowing us to stop by and grab a rest/food on the way to Chesapeake! You’re truly both great and generous people! To *titskalyn thanks for letting us park the bus after the show last night at your place and giving us a place to chill! Your kindness is greatly appreciated! Finally, to all the people came out! What can I say, you all are the best! I’m sure I missed some people I’m here, but I am so grateful to everyone who comes out to support us, gives us a place to rest, a fresh meal, good company, etc. You all are why we do this and help make this all possible, so THANK YOU!

Let the great short scale bass experiment commence. Snagged a Squier Paranormal Rascal Bass today at my local GC. Everyone I know who plays short scale basses says they are great for people with arthritis and hand ailments, so I figured I’d give one a go. So far it’s pretty cool, and a really nice mod platform too. 🤘🏼🏴‍☠️🧟‍♂️

Swapped my Line 6 Helix LT for the Quad Cortex. All I can say is WOW! The amount of factory presets specifically for bass is astounding, and beyond that there a massive amount of bass amps, captures, and effects. 🤘🏼🏴‍☠️🧟‍♂️
