he was once my best friend but now he’s just someone I used to know.
It’s life, we value our friends yet there’s time we’ll lose them without any reason.
but we can’t deny it, at one moment we miss that old friend, we miss the long talks and each other’s presence.

Do you remember the first time love arrived at your door? I remember mine. I expected love to be gorgeous. I expected love to enter my home and magically heal everything. Magically, make everything come to life. Magically, make me feel alive. I ran, almost with a childlike excitement, and opened the door.

Love stood there in shabby clothes and messy hair. Love had its past. Love had its weight to carry. And as it turned out, love also made life somewhat difficult. I was perplexed. For a moment, I thought, "Wait. It isn't right. What happened to all those movie kind of love?" I was almost going to ask love to leave. Get the hell out of my life.

But love stayed. And stayed. And on nights when I found it difficult to breathe, love stood by me. And on days where everything seemed too hard, love held my hand. And on mornings where I couldn't even muster the courage to get up from my bed, love made my lukewarm coffee.

Love was imperfect. Love, as it turned out, also got angry. Love got envious. Love got things wrong in its head. Love was stupid.
But love knew some things pretty darn well - it knew how to love. It knew how to stay. It knew how to turn my guts inside out to make me feel alive. It knew things. It knew me.

Well, love, why don't you knock again? This time, I promise to greet you with a coffee kiss

What is loving-kindness?

A little boy jumped up and said,
"Well, if I was hungry and someone gave me a piece of bread, that would be kindness. But if they put a little jam on it, that would be loving-kindness."
